Best over ear headphones I’ve tried

It’s so comfortable to use for long periods of time. The sound quality is amazing. The controls are 50/50, the volume is controlled my sliding your finger up or down and waiting to see if you did it correctly, which I don’t like. But there are actual buttons to turn it on or off as well as to toggle between ambient sound off and on or noise cancellation on. It also connects to 2 devices at the same time allowing you to switch between devices without reconnecting Bluetooth each time. One thing I found annoying is if you accidentally brush your arm or whatever against the volume side earmuff, you’ll trigger its action by lowering or raising its volume. Also the noise cancellation is just ok, it could be better but it’s still really good.

They’re so comfortable and they’re more affordable. I’ve had them for almost 2 years now, and I still love them so much. Their battery life and sound quality is still good, but my favorite is the noise cancellation and the comfort. It fits around my ears instead of on them, and the ear pieces are so plush and comfortable. As someone who has sensory issues, these are perfect. I got them for grad school and continue to use them often.

Very worth the money

You'll hear more bass in your audio when you have it under an EQ preset but can be customized in the Headphones app Sony has. The foldable design made me prefer it over the XM5. great for phone calls and how it can connect to two devices at the same time.

They are so easy to use, lightweight, and have amazing quality. The only downside to these is that they take a little more time to switch between devices. I need to reconnect them to my laptop or iPad, it’s not too big of a deal! Overall, I don’t regret getting them at all!

Well worth every penny!

And by far the best headphones I’ve owned. I upgraded only for the color and to have one dedicated for work and the other for traveling. They are extremely comfortable, easy to use, and the sound is top notch. Money well spent especially if you can catch them on sale.

Best wireless noise canceling headphones out there

I have the new Bose noise canceling headphones and the new AirPod Pros as well. I would rank these Sony headphones slightly above the Bose and the Apple AirPod Pros last. The Sony’s switch back and forth between your devices flawlessly and no other headset does that effectively. Sound wise, they’re just as good as the other 2 and have the best bass. You can’t go wrong with these!

Not only do I use these bad boys to hit the gym so I can stay focused we let my daughter wear them as ear muffs for her first hockey game because she sensitive to loud noise an she had no problem. Beyond Impressive

Have owned Bose noise cancelling, JLab in ear, Apple wired and in-ear wireless. When it comes to hearing all the nuances of just music, these are hands down my fave. So many options that it takes a little time to learn all it will do. Gotta tackle dealing with "Alexa" smart home devices next. My first time with a Sony product and looking forward to many more. Long life between charges - a huge plus. Don't buy anything until you try these. Highly recommend them.

But for general listening they’re pretty good. I pair them with my TV for video games and I use them with my phone to play music. The audio quality is very good. My only complaint in that realm is that the volume doesn’t get quite loud enough for my taste. I had the old version and they got very hot. These have the same issue. If you’re going to wear them for video games after an hour or so they get pretty sweaty. There seriously lacking in the looks department but that’s not a dealbreaker

Overall excellent except for battery remaining %

Fantastic noise cancelling. Great colour. My only issue is the battery is finicky when it comes to charging. I ONLY use these headphones for flights so after some odd battery remaining figures, I just charge before flying (regardless of what the battery indicator says) and all is usually okay. I am taking away 1 star for the 2moverseas flights in which my headphones died 1 hour in due to me thinking there was 90% battery left.

Great quality and features

Excellent Noise cancellation Nice range, nice battery life, great features, better than Bose 700 headphones. But, my requirement was to connect to three devices and two at the same time (ipad and iphone) and want to switch seamlessly when a call comes while watching movie in ipad. Sony WH-1000XM4 doesn't do that (Bose 700 does that well). So, I had to return it. I tried Bose Studio 3, which is not even comparable to this Sony in noise cancellation. I am sticking with my Bose
