XM4s - great value & continue to out perform XM5s

After listening to my son’s XM4’s, I knew there was no going back. After testing the XM6’s, while there are small upgrades, the XM4’s are proven and loved by many, including our family!

The sound signature is great for casual listening, don't get these for your dedicated listening sessions for audiophiles, this is not your product. However, if you are used to headphones that come bundled with products, these will blow your mind. The sound cancellation is some of the best I have ever heard and the gesture controls are amazing. The one complaint I have is that one audio codex is not accepted, I forget which one, but it means I cannot use these on my TV wirelessly without substantial delay. Get dedicated tv headphones for that purpose. No issue though on iphone or android

Note: This headset supports the following 3 codecs for music playback via an A2DP connection: SBC, AAC, and LDAC.
The audio playback on the headset may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. As a result, the sound may not be in sync with the image when viewing movies or playing games. Please check the AV sync settings or any related settings of your TV to minimize the audio delay. Hope this helps!

It was jusy time, and I wanted something different. After reviewing the differences between these and the bose quiet comforts, I decided to try these -and I’m glad I did! I would say my favorite aspect of these is the ambient control option -especially mainly using these at the gym, it has been very convenient while talking to people without taking them off. I used to have to hold down the ear buds to turn off the noise cancellation and it got a little annoying, while these did it automatically.

First thing I noticed about them is that they are lighter than I expected but still good quality material and the sound quality is great especially with the different EQ settings. The noise cancellation and the acuracy with the touchpad features ambient sound control is impressive. The pressure on the earpads is not too bad and the earcups have a soft memorylike foam which is comfortable and doesn't seem to make my ears too hot after a while of wearing them. The optimizer does seem to help make the earcups feel a little more natural when wearing them. I got this as a gift for my other half and wanted to test it before giving it to him for Christmas. I'm honestly thinking of investing in a pair for myself. It also really helps with studying and writing reports when there is a lot of noise in the house. The 2 way pairing also seems to be useful when I'm on the phone and using my laptop at the same time and decreases the hassle of having to switch back and fourth as I have experienced with earbuds. The charging cable that came with it is a bit too short but can always use a longer cable so it's not a problem. It takes a bit to get used to the touchpad swiping motions but It didn't take me too long to find certain ways to swipe without much hassle. It also seems to have a good grip on my head as my head is pretty small but I'm glad i can move around and not feel like it's going to fall off. The mic quality seems to be good. However, if the headphones are in a certain angle such as if you were to lay down while on a call, it seems muffled but headphones aren't really meant to be used when laying down so it's not too much of an issue. Otherwise, I think these headphones were worth purchasing so far. I also love how it comes with a hardshell case to carry the foldable headphones and the different cables that come with it which is an extra plus.

Noise canceling or if you want to be able to hear your surroundings as well. The battery life is pretty good while I’m the noise canceling mode.

The battery life hovers around 25 to 30 hours on a full charge. The ANC is industry leading. Highly recommend these headphones for anyone looking to have premium audio at home.

I even went into Best Buy and tried them on. The sound and comfort of these were slightly better than the competition, and were cheaper, especially compared to the apple maxs. And the baterry life is really good as well

I was in flight with a person using these headphones and I asked about them. He said that the SONY were the best. I went to Best Buy and tried Beats, Bose, and others and when I put on the Sony I could not believe the difference. I see so many on the Plane with Bose and think they just went with a name. The case is of very high quality and has a convenient mesh pocket on the outside. The headphones fold very nicely into the case. One small gripe is the two small cords (3.5mm and charger that's very very short) that come in the case tend to want to go out of their little section once you take them out. But they do fit in well. The build quality of the headphones is fantastic and they look beautiful. I'm very impressed with all it's features. The app that comes with it is easy to use and allows further customization. The noise cancelling is the best I've ever experienced and can be turned all the way up or down with the app. The sound quality is the best part of these and is truly very good. They perform well with any type of sound and I use these as opposed to my pixelbuds when I want a much more immersive sound experience. I highly recommend these noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones.
