Although I kind of regret buying the headphones in black and I wished I should've bought them in silver. Anyways it doesn't matter the quality and sound of these headphones are amazing! I also enjoyed the noise-canceling option, I can finally stop hearing my upstairs neighbors from doing a ton of noise.

Nice sound but Bluetooth connectivity issue

However this model has serious connectivity issues. It does not automatically connect to your paired Bluetooth device (at least my headphone) and you need to reset the headphone every time before connecting which is pain. Quite disappointed but I am sure Sony will fix it in future.

We definitely want to get this fixed for you so you can actually enjoy your music. Please try these steps to see if they clear up that connection glitch:
-Make sure to check the Sony | Sound Connect app for any available firmware updates.
-Go into your device’s Bluetooth settings and "Forget" the headphones. Then, do the same on any other devices they might be paired to.
-Try a initialization. Find detailed instructions here: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm4/v1/en/contents/TP0002752746.html

Shouldn't Have Had to Buy but Product is Great

GREAT headphones, though. Excellent sound & great noise cancelling. Sorry to waste employee time returning and restocking but wasn't letting a $100 savings go.

First time I have loved headphones

I took these on my most recent airplane travel, and they were wonderful. They blocked out alll the noise I didn't want, but allowed me to hear important announcements. Of course, I could also listen to the movies in comfort.

Good but not Great

The mids I can’t seem to get down to my taste but highs are good. Overall they do provide a good sound experience. The app is ok because of the equalizer but aside from that it sucks. The dual device connection is crap. They sometimes connect without any problems but 8 out of 10 times it doesn’t connect. Sometimes it says the headset connects to my iPhone but the app will say it’s not. I have to delete all connections and start all over. Overall on sale they’re worth the buy. Full retail...wouldn’t recommend.

The NC works really well, the audio is really good, including bass delivery without crushing the mids. I think these are a bit better than the v3 in sound, and maybe a little in NC, but the differences are not huge. These seem to have less of a plastic "creak" when handling than the v3.

The black Friday price and extended return policy made me go for it. I love these for my music, great range. The controls are simple. And i keep this paired to my phone, taking phone calls is easy. Clear. Reluanle. I get 40ft range easily. Superb sound, which really is the most important thing.
