Hi MichaelI, we're glad you are enjoying our product. We're sorry to hear that you have an issue with your Sony unit. It appears that the issue you have is caused by the Speak-to-Chat feature. If Speak-to-Chat is enabled beforehand, the Speak-to-Chat mode starts automatically when you talk to someone. The headset pauses or mutes the music which is being played and captures the voice of the person you are conversing with on the microphone to make it easier to hear. You can disable this feature by following this link:

Hi MXmouse, Thank you for your honest review. Please note that the noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
