An ideal option for when you have an older, non-wireless device or you've run out of battery power. For noise or rattling issue, temporarily turn off the noise canceling function on the Headphones Connect app then turn it back on. Also, please make sure that the firmware is up to date. You may also try to initialize the headphones if these steps didn't resolve the issue.

Thank you for an amazing review. We're happy to hear you like the noise canceling feature of the XM4 headphones. We're sorry to hear that you are having sound issues when PC is connected to WIFI. Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions.

When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device
In this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
There is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.

The WH-1000XM4 is a new design, with intelligent and intuitive Ambient Sound Control features that include improvements to Multipoint connection and our industry-leading Noise Cancelation, exceptional sound quality, and Smart Listening that adjusts to your behavior and location. The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Please make sure to update the firmware to the latest version as it will improve the general performance of the headphones. Also, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology, there may be a delay in audio playback when viewing videos. Hi Sonyshooter, we're glad you like the noise canceling feature of our product. We're sorry to hear that you had returned your SONY unit. It is recommended to utilize the the Headphone connect app which has features like equalizer, 360 Reality Audio, Sound Quality Mode, and many more. Unfortunately, Clear bass is not available for WH1000XM4. You may adjust the bass from the audio source instead.
