Unbeatable headphones!!

I have been using them for the gym and it works just fine, all you need to do is take them off for at least 5 minutes so that it wouldnt mess up the sensors inside or too much sweating. I have used them for 2 flights and i love the noise cancelations. It allows me to listen to my music peacfully and the sound is on point, the bass is super accurate and i can hear every sound and beat. Also great for gaming, makes me feel like if im in the fields which is cool, just need to buy an aux mic to be able to chat. Overall best headphones that are unbeatable.

They did sometimes disconnect during a zoom session on my iPad though.

But, the microphone was just ok, at least according to my friends. A week later, the XM4's were announced and I decided to return my XM3 within the return period, and purchased the XM4's instead. Same high quality sound and long battery life, but music/videos stop playing when the headphones are removed (a nice touch) and there's a significant improvement in the microphone voice quality. Yes, I had to pay a premium over the XM3, but it was definitely worth it since I'll be making a lot more video calls in the foreseeable future.

Best noise cancelling for your buck

Great for all around use

What makes these stand out is not only the superb sound quality but the companion app that comes with it. The app allows for equalizer customization to the max. Noise cancellation is quite nice, especially being the passenger in a car or on a train, bus, ect. The other Bose headphones for around 399 have better noise cancellation but only by a small margin that I barely noticed. Just as Sony always touts it self, the bass on these bad boys can reach a perfect level without having fuzz. It takes a bit of playing around with the equalizer to find the best fit for you though. I’m a college student at the moment and it work great with zoom calls and phone calls. The call feature is great. It also has a track pad on the right ear cup that you can swipe on at different angles to lower, higher volume, skip songs, ect. The reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 start is that after about 8-10 hours of straight use (don’t judge me) the pressure from the crown of my head was painful, which is to be expected. Also, there was only one instance where the audio would stop and play for some unknown reason but was fixed with a simple off and on. I’d recommend these headphones over Bose, JBL, and other brands. My favorites BY FAR!

They are comfortable, great sounding and the noise cancellation is amazing (almost scary that you can not hear anything else when it's on!) I only wear headphones when I absolutely have to, I will always prefer being tuned into my surroundings but when I need to tune out or keep the room volume down, these are the way to go. The two bluetooth device pairing is great too because I use these on my LG TV and also with my iPhone without having to pair them again. The pause feature when I remove the headphones is awesome and the motion control on the right side took a bit of getting used to but now it comes more naturally to me.
