I did a lot of research on headphones to see which one I should buy & I’m glad I went with these! The noise cancelling on these headphones are hands down the best there is & the main winner to these! Once the noise cancelling comes on, it’s like you’re in your own concert or lil world. Love that it has the feature of when you start speaking to someone it will automatically pause & uses its microphone to listen to the background so that you don’t have to waste time pausing or taking off the headphones. Not to mention the feature of cupping on to one side of the earphone & it will pause your music so you can’t listen in around you! Can’t forget it comes with a small compact carrying case to store them & all the accessories such as the charger & awesome attachment to use on an airplane!

Best impulsive purchase!!!!

I use the Sony XM4 almost everyday and I don’t need to charge them for a few days. Comparing to the other models this was a safe choice. The sound quality is amazing. For the price; the noise canceling feature is immaculate. I don’t think anything else compares.

Who needs Apple AirPods Max?

I tried them all on, compared prices and value and read a ton of reviews and these Sonys came out on top. Even better than subsequent generations. They have amazing sound and solid noise cancellation. Don’t spend more than you have to. These are a home run.

They have great sound and the ANC works great at my job where there is some consistent production noises. I have been using them for a week now and am not disappointed at all. They comfortably fit over my ears without looking too bulky. I only wish I had noticed that the black color had rose gold metal accents instead of bronze.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of headphones and these ones are the best. and the noise canceling is just perfect. Only problem I would say I have with it is the battery life. It’s DECENT. But again, these are my first pair of actual headphones ever so I’m not sure how others are in the market when it comes to battery life

The only issue has been the connection in/around a Bluetooth car speaker system, where connectivity gets weird. Other than that completely irrelevant nitpick, these are perfect.

I absolutely love them so much. They also helped me sleep during my flight and bus rides were silent with the noise cancelling.

Best value in over ear headphones

I’ve been a Bose, Beats, Master & Dynamic, Apple and Sony user throughout the years. I would place these headphones at the top of the list between all of those brands. The sound, features and build quality check nearly every box. I personally believe this model is even superior to the newer 1000xm-5. I sampled both prior to purchase and believe the drivers and foldable design make these the better purchase. Thank you Sony for continuing to raise the bar and still provide outstanding value. Easy recommendation if you’re in the market for a new pair of over ear headphones.

With the SoundConnect app I can set how much noise cancelation I want and can change the EQ. If you remove your headphones while listening to music to talk to someone else your music will pause until you put them back on. The sound quality is a solid 8/10

The sound is completely crisp and provides plenty of bass when using an equalizer like Dolby Atmos. One other thing I love about these headphones is that the noise cancelling completely blocks out any and all background noise. Overall, these headphones are a 10/10 in my book.

Great headphones

You feel their comfort when you compare them with others. These headphones are excellent, except for calling or video meetings, sometimes people complain that the voice is low, and hear the surroundings more than myself talking.
