better than airpod maxes

I like the transparency feature and options for noise canceling, ambient sound, or neither. They’re comfortable on my head and look good. They do slip a bit if I bend down.

Top of the line headphones

I did a lot of research on headphones to see which one I should buy & I’m glad I went with these! The noise cancelling on these headphones are hands down the best there is & the main winner to these! Once the noise cancelling comes on, it’s like you’re in your own concert or lil world. Love that it has the feature of when you start speaking to someone it will automatically pause & uses its microphone to listen to the background so that you don’t have to waste time pausing or taking off the headphones. Not to mention the feature of cupping on to one side of the earphone & it will pause your music so you can’t listen in around you! Can’t forget it comes with a small compact carrying case to store them & all the accessories such as the charger & awesome attachment to use on an airplane! There’s many more features I’m forgetting, do the research & promise they won’t disappoint!

Best headphonea for the price point

The spund quality is great and the noise canceling is awesome. The only thing is that I think mine are defective because when i try to swipe to change songs, sometimes it doesn't do it. The volume one works but the one to swipe left or right sometimes doesnt work. I hear the swiping sound but it doesn't do it. Other than that I think these are reall good headphones.

While we're happy that you are enjoying its amazing audio and excellent noise cancellation, we're sorry you've been running into difficulty. When you wear the headset over a cap, cloth, a scarf, hair, etc., wearing detection may not work properly, and the touch sensor control panel may not be available for operation. Wear the headset so that your ears are inside the earpads. Additionally, the headset will not operate correctly when you operate the headset with your fingernail or a gloved hand. Remove your glove, and operate the headset with the ball of your finger.
It is important to note that when you swipe your finger forward/backward or up/down on the touch sensor control panel, the touch sensor control panel may not work correctly depending on the angle at which the headset is worn or the direction your head is facing. When you swipe your finger forward/backward, make the movements perpendicular to the headband.

Great sound, ok build quality, no squeaky plastic

I do suspect the left ear cup swivel assembly will degrade in a year or so, but for now, the plastic doesn't creak like the WH-CH520 that I had before. The sound quality is phenomenal, but when I turn on LDAC, there is an occasional dropped packet, when my phone gets unlocked, or if I switch apps. If you have a larger budget, I would go with the Sony XM5, because the swivel mechanism might be a bit more durable.

Good ANC & Comfort

I am happy with the ANC & used them on a 16-hr flight. Battery life is reasonable and they are comfortable to wear for extended periods. Sound quality could be a bit more dynamic, Good bass

I use the Sony XM4 almost everyday and I don’t need to charge them for a few days. Comparing to the other models this was a safe choice. The sound quality is amazing. Best value in over ear headphones

I’ve been a Bose, Beats, Master & Dynamic, Apple and Sony user throughout the years. I would place these headphones at the top of the list between all of those brands. The sound, features and build quality check nearly every box. I personally believe this model is even superior to the newer 1000xm-5. I sampled both prior to purchase and believe the drivers and foldable design make these the better purchase. Thank you Sony for continuing to raise the bar and still provide outstanding value. Easy recommendation if you’re in the market for a new pair of over ear headphones.

Who needs Apple AirPods Max?

I tried them all on, compared prices and value and read a ton of reviews and these Sonys came out on top. Even better than subsequent generations. They have amazing sound and solid noise cancellation. Don’t spend more than you have to. These are a home run.

Great sound, minor glitches
