Best ANC Headphones around!

I've owned the Sony XM2 & XM3 prior to these. These improved on the ANC from the XM3 and those are still considered one of the best. The multipoint connection makes these so much better. My only issue with these would be that the "cabin pressure" feeling on these are ever slightly more noticeable than the previous models.

I work at home and with the pandemic my kids are also home doing school. I throw these on and I can no longer hear my kids schooling and can get my work done with ease. Gaming is great with this pair with the 360 sound I can hear people from so far away that it gives me an advance in the game winning more often.

I had beats headphones before but the sound quality wasn’t there. These headphones feel like I’m at a concert. You can control the sound quality on the Sony app which is a great tool. I compare the two and I could say the NC on the Bose without music I do feel is slightly better. The Sony there is a hissing that is well heard. With the audio on it is hard to determine which one of the two are better. If you’re someone that enjoys more bass I would highly recommend going with the Sony over the Bose . I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. The app for the Sony though gives you so much more room to play with the options and adjusting it to your own means.

We appreciate your review of the headphones. Good to know that you like its sound quality and the dedicated app support (Sony Headphones Connect app). Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony app) for optimum performance.
The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.

I was on an airplane with a crying baby behind me and could barely hear it. Great quality audio and I love the auto-adjust feature on the noise canceling too. Only downside is they get a little heavy if wearing for a long time.

Better than Bose

Has some cool features like pause when you remove them from your head, and I like the customizable sound profiles. I owned Bose NC headphones for 6-7 years prior to these, and there's no noticeable difference in build or sound quality.

Touch volume adjustments on the outer right earpiece are a little touchy. Volume level doesn’t get quite as loud as I would personally like, but at least it is distortion free. One of my favorite purchases nonetheless!
