I love how comfortable they sit whether I’m working out!! It’s hard to find headphones that won’t hurt your ears after a long period of time and I’m glad Sony was able to reach my expectations!! 10/10

Noise cancellation not working as well

Firmware Update to Version 3.0.1: Please install the latest software to improve performance. Instructions are here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/wireless-headphones-bluetooth-headphones/wh-1000xm4/software/00261613
Reset the Headset: This clears temporary bugs without deleting pairing info. Instructions: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm4/v1/en/contents/TP0002752743.html

Best noise cancelling headphones

These headphones have an app that you can personalize all types of features and what not. The battery life lasts forever on one charge and it is the best at the gym or on the plane.

A must for students and anyone who likes quietness

I bought them for my class since I kept breaking my EarPods (wired). I highly recommend, especially for students. I had construction going on right outside my window during my lectures and the noise cancelling blocked out the noise allowing me to focus in class including exams! In some occasions I would used them to take naps while construction was still going outside and I was able to sleep comfortably. I consider these headphones to be my BEST investment.

Drop the coin, worth it

They work better than expected. But I digress. I am a late 40s male and hard of hearing. At first I wanted to turn the volume up louder than these headphones would allow. Then I settled in. It's worth the wait. No outside nose from happy miss yappy pants. The music just sounded better. I've had these for almost a year now, and they work soo great that I kicked the GF, her un ambitioned kid and a yapppy dog out of my house. Yet, I still wear these headphones and enjoy the beautiful sound.

Great performance, not as comfortable as I'd like.

I used the Bose headsets for a long time, it was not too bad. The Bose headset lasted a long time, but they new Sony ones are way better in terms of performance. Why not give it 5 stars. For one the ear holes are small for my ears and the noise-cancelling could be better. The sound is awesome, but for long flights your ears will hurt a bit and the you will still hear people snoring next to you.

With the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, check the setting of [Ambient Sound Control]. If it is set to [Wind Noise Reduction] or [Ambient Sound], the effect of noise canceling is reduced.
