Not enough improvements compared to WH-1000XM3.

Earpieces become hot too quickly, even in cool weather. 2) Active noise cancellation (ACN): Very good. 3) Sound quality: Underwhelming sound quality if EQ within Sony app is not used. If EQ and app are used, sound quality improves to Good. Does not support AptX L, plus LDAC cannot be used if multipoint connection is selected. 4) Bluetooth connectivity: Multipoint function very poorly implemented - just doesn't work consistently. Otherwise stable bluetooth connectivity. 5) Controls: Touch pad works surprisingly well, BUT needs more than 1 programmable button - only allows choice of summoning Voice Assistant or control over ANC level Need both.

I was glad we were able to test them out and purchase in store. Great noise cancelling headphones. Several features I enjoy was the separate app and ease of learning all the tips to better your all around sound experience . I highly recommend these headphones. Thank you Best Buy. Good headphones

I've never worn or even tried any other noise-cancelling headphones so I don't know how they compare. However, I bought these for plane travel and have worn them on numerous flights, both short and very long, and they've fit the bill. They block out a lot of the annoying airplane engine noise as well as the ambient noise of other passengers on the plane. The sound quality is good and they are easy to set up and re-connect to my phone and tablet.
