Improvements on a Great Pair of Headphones

Those developed a crack in the left band after about a year and a half, so I purchased these. These are just as great in terms of sound quality, but the added features put them over the top. I really like that sony added wear detection and multi device support. Both features seem to work really well. I do have to say the noise cancellation doesn't seem to work as well as the previous model when it comes to women's voices and higher tones. Hopefully this can be improved with added updates, which seemed to be the case with the previous model.

Can't beat them

The only thing I will say is with light hair on the top of my head after a long while if wearing they can become uncomfortable but the sound is unmatched.

Nice headphones

I use these to travel on flights and at work. Love love love, but store them in their original case to preserve them. NFC is nice, the touch sensitive buttons are handy too. I'd recommend using the app to set a custom setting for the best sound balance.

Amazing 360 sound

Great noise cancellation

These are the best noise cancelling headphones in my opinion. I have tried these and Bose and these are noticeably better, especially when traveling. They are fragile however so careful about dropping them.

Best headsets in that price point

Small issue i have is with the sensor that pauses the music when it detects you talking or someone talking to you. it pauses randomly, I'd rather a button and for it to not autodetect. the color is oh so beautiful

The WH1000XM4 has a built-in proximity sensor in the left unit and the built-in acceleration sensors in each of the left and right units detect when the headset is attached to or removed from your ears, and the headset automatically controls the touch sensor control panel’s operation, powering off, pausing music playback, play music, etc. By using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you can change the settings of the wearing detection automatic music playback pause and resume function of the headphones.
