First the sound. I've been using wired headphones for years. Tied (by wire) to the computer, I have dutifully sat in my chair for hours, watching instructional videos, etc. Now, I get up and walk around, still hearing the audio, while stretching my legs, even walking around the house. The no-sound is just as enjoyable. I'm wearing them now, while my wife is watching tv. Very quiet.

Cuts out all those kids while I work from home

My mom sleeps with the TV in the room. These headphones have saved me. I wish they came out in March like they said, so waiting until August was not cool. Only downside is how it handles calls/first device, by cutting off the second device. So if you are in a webinar and a spam call comes in, you are out of audio in your meeting. The noise canceling in great. Sound quality is great.

I found that the bose headphones did a good job in the noise cancel department but really did not impress when it came to music playback. These sony's have done it all and stand above all others in striking that balance point. Overall these headphones are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone looking for bluetooth, wireless, noise cancel, headphones that don't sound like muddy bose's.

The music sounds so incredibly clear and I like that I’m able to custom the listen quality to my liking. The noise canceling is the best from my experience. You can still hear things around you unless you have music playing, which for studying in a cafe isn't great if you dont like to study with music.
