Eh could be better

Also the noise cancellation is okay it could be better, I bought them to use them for the gym but even with the noise cancellation I can still here the gym’s music and The weights hitting the floor.

In this deep shade of blue, these headphones do an awesome job with secluding yourself in a bustling world. I enjoy wearing these headphones while at home to unwind and relax. It is the best, and loud and the hardware functionality to stop play when you speak to someone and take it off your head is amazingly smart. The sound and hardware. And definitely a need to be able to connect to two devices. The previous only connected to one, and that was an angering inconvenience. Definitely an additional fix worth the upgrade.

Obviously, the sound is superb. The tap buttons on the side take some time to get used to but are convenient. The Headphones app provides great customizion. Lastly, the reason to go with this version rather than their latest ($399 headphones) is because these still fold and easily fit in your bag/backpack.

Bluetooth connection with multiple devices is unreliable at times. Audio doesn’t swap consistently when connected to laptops and my phone.

Update Software: Ensure that your headphones are updated to the latest firmware version. Updates often bring improvements and fixes for issues related to connectivity.
Reset Headphones: If connectivity issues persist, consider initializing and resetting your headphones. This operation will reset all device settings to the factory defaults and delete all pairing information. Instructions for initializing can be found in the model-specific Help Guide

My mom sleeps with the TV in the room. These headphones have saved me. I wish they came out in March like they said, so waiting until August was not cool. Only downside is how it handles calls/first device, by cutting off the second device. So if you are in a webinar and a spam call comes in, you are out of audio in your meeting. The noise canceling in great. Sound quality is great.

I found that the bose headphones did a good job in the noise cancel department but really did not impress when it came to music playback. These sony's have done it all and stand above all others in striking that balance point. Overall these headphones are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone looking for bluetooth, wireless, noise cancel, headphones that don't sound like muddy bose's.

Meaning, I don’t hear surrounding noises when listening with this headphone Cons - Bad mic noise cancellation. Meaning, although the noise cancellation for me is good, the noise cancellation for outgoing signals from mic is bad. If I am in a noisy envt, I will not be disturbed by a single background noise. But the person I am talking to will hear all the background noise. I’d expect such costly headphones to cancel the noise from mic in such a way that the person on the other side will hear only my voice and not the noise in my side of the background.

Make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance.
Depending on the surrounding environment, wind noise may increase when the Ambient Sound Mode is turned on. In that case, cancel the voice focus with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. If the wind noise is still significant, turn off the Ambient Sound Mode.
For call quality, re-establish the connection between the headphones and your source device. Select HFP or HSP for the profile. You can also check the settings of the app that you are using for mic sensitivity if available.
