The noise canceling is what you’re paying for. It’s ridiculously good. I put these on and everything just attenuated. It was a surreal experience. That being said, the sound quality is “good” but not “excellent”. Let me explain. The sound is not as immersive as I expected and I was left wanting more for the price tag. The good news is that podcast and YouTube videos come in nice and clear. I’ll need some more time playing with the EQ before passing final judgement on the sound quality for music. I recommend these, but only when on sale.

First time I have loved headphones

I took these on my most recent airplane travel, and they were wonderful. They blocked out alll the noise I didn't want, but allowed me to hear important announcements. Of course, I could also listen to the movies in comfort.

Excellent sound quality.

Only complaint I have is to get them to recharge. When you plug in the charger It'll charge for 30 seconds and then quit. Sometimes it takes several tries to get them to stay charging. I've heard of several other people having the same issue with them

Situational use.. Good/Bad

I like the noise cancelling aspect as I drive truck and it helps protect my hearing. Listening to books as I drive and are rather comfortable for long period use. In noisy situations though, the are horrible for use while making a phone call.
