If you aren’t planning on spending 500 dollars on a pair of Airpods max this is the best option available. Pros: -Easy controls in-app on Android or iPhone. -Wired option. (Aux) -All-day battery. -GREAT bass and mid-tones. -Solid build quality. -Comfortable during standard use. -Noise canceling is way better than any other headphones I’ve used (better than ANY airpods). Cons: -Treble is slightly lacking compared to bass (still sound amazing). -Touch controls are difficult and iffy. -A little chunky(if you like to lay down while using headphone they’re pretty uncomfortable). -Transparency mode SUCKS compared to airpods pros but on their own its fine enough not to bother me. I love using these headphones, the only reason I didn’t leave five stars was because of the transparency mode.

These headphones are very comfortable and have fantastic sound quality. The long battery life is another great quality!

I would like to first note that the noise cancelling feature on these is unbeat. These headphones deserve every bit of hype they have built over the past year. I use these daily and have to keep on side peaked to the side when in my office because they are practically ear plugs. There is so many incredible features that get you your money’s worth. They're sleek with a beautiful matte color. The battery 6 months later is still 12+ hours long. The only con would be they are a bit tight on my head but it ends up making them great workout headphones. headphones over a hat and they dont move an inch. even after cardio. Super easy to connect

Out the box these headphones are still amazing. Their ANC is very good for its price range and the sound quality is really great. Even though these may be a bit old they are still a very great pair of headphones. The app is perfect for making adjustments on ANC and EQ. The case is very sturdy as well. The headphones are light but comfortable, for some people the it could be to small but for average people it should work perfectly well. They also offer LDAC so you are bound to get great sound quality over Bluetooth. These headphones are perfect especially on a budget and I would recommend these.

Literally obsessed with my XM5! These headphones are an upgrade in every way: the sound quality is crystal clear with deep bass, the noise cancellation is amazing, and they’re comfortable to wear for hours. The battery life is excellent, and they charge quickly, which is a huge plus. I love the touch controls and app! They’ve become my go-to for studies and travel. Highly recommend if you want top-tier headphones!

i got these for the gym after my airpods broke and i have ZERO regrets! i absolutely love these headphones, they are a game changer in the gym. they are great quality, comfortable to wear and keep their charge for daysss. the color is a plus. i like that it has a storage case too, it comes in handy for travel.

If you are on the Autism spectrum, and/or have a sensory processing disorder, my review is for you. Sensory processing disorder is difficult for many to understand (Some people say the phrase "Sensory sensitivity" instead of processing disorder). These headphones were a Christmas gift from my parents who live in another state, so I took this attached photo as my facial expression the first time I turned on the ANC. I am on the autism spectrum and I have a sensory processing disorder. I work as a business data analyst for a fortune 25 company working with big datasets, building dashboards, ect. I really struggled in my job with the "Open floor plan" with cubicles everywhere. All the noise of the office was so overwhelming when I was trying to write complex formulas in Excel and Tableau, or complex SQL database queries. I would lose my place and have to start over. This was beyond frustrating. When we switched to work from home, I thought it would be great. All the noise of the office is gone! That was until a family moved into the apartment above mine with 3 kids who like jumping off the bed and playing basketball in the house (yikes). The problem for people with a sensory processing disorder is that we need periods of "silence" sometimes too, so even though my non ANC headphones (Sony MDR-7506s) were really nice, they required me to have music at a decent volume to try and block out the sound above me. Not with these new Sony WH-1000XM4s! I can activate the noise canceling without playing music, and it works! I had read a review that said it would auto-shut off after 10 minutes if you didn't play any music, but so far I haven't had that problem (as long as they are within bluetooth range of my phone still, as they will "sleep" if there is no bluetooth connection). These guys helped me SO MUCH. Not only can I not hear the noise upstairs, but I can also hear myself think and I can relax. The way these headphones compensate for your ear canal and atmospheric pressure is absolutely mind blowing. The silence is golden. As a final note to help those who don't have a sensory processing disorder, but might be considering these for a loved one, I have a quick story about my first time wearing them. With a sensory processing disorder, if a single sensation is "overwhelming" your brain, you are actually not capable of processing other sensations. Before getting these headphones, I had been told by multiple people that my dog had a weird smell, but I absolutely could not smell it. After just a few minutes of wearing these headphones (with no music playing, but with ANC on) I started smelling my dog. It was the most weird sensation to realize my SPD was preventing me from smelling my dog just because of the noise upstairs. ANC technology is live changing for someone with SPD, and these are the best in the industry for ANC. The music is great too (and yes I do use them for music sometimes as well) but if you are considering these for someone on the Autism Spectrum or with a sensory processing disorder, they are fantastic for that too, even with no music on. The headphones sounded incredible, the hinges that allow you to fold them in are very sturdy. The noise cancelling capabilities are superb, the battery life on these headphones far exceeded my expectations! My awesome, sexy, and generous girlfriend got me these for our one year anniversary!

I own this model and the WH-1000XM2, and honestly, the M2 is more comfortable with better sound. The M2 is heavier with more plush material, but the M4 offers more options that I don't need with more complexity in the app. I love both of them (they BOTH have changed my listening world), but the M2 feels better made. I wish I could turn off the side touch options in both of them (maybe this is an option?) because I love laying down with them on and the touch option sometimes pauses playback. But this is still a quality option. Pros: Great at noise cancellation, sleek design, automatic pausing of playback when you take them off, side touch options available to change in the app (i.e., ffwd to next track, raise volume, pause, and speech search options). Cons: More "airy" design with lighter materials used than the M2, brief audio drops when connected to Bluetooth? (Why? It's the highest Bluetooth rating right now). Still pauses playback when lying down on the side ear cup.

Great sound quality. The noise proof is great as well. I love that you can choose between full noise canceling or ambient sound. The ambient sound is basically like not wearing headphones. After a while using the headphones my head doesn’t hurt. Overall great pair!

This is my first premium headphone purchase, and I’m very happy with them. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, the microphone works well for work calls, and the touch pad is responsive and easy to use. I’m happy with the battery life. The connection to 2 Bluetooth devices is seamless and really easy to set up. Used for airplane travel, and the noise cancellation made the airport experience so much better. I will say that during the flight, air pressure in my ears felt weird for a few days. The material is prone to smudges.

I honestly can't suggest these headphones enough, GET THEM, and if you dont like them for the first week then return them. Be Warned They will bring a smile to your face because they bring Life back into your music. IMPORTANT: I suggest to close your eyes when using them, it elevates the experience. Clarity: 10/10 Based on the song, you'll probably have an out of body experience when using these headphones. Base: 9/10 Change default settings for more base if need be. The settings you chose will make you hear things you didn't Noise Canceling: 10/10 Better than bose, without the pain. Battery: 10/10 Charge for 10-30 minutes get hours of playback. Overall: 10/10 Yet another BestBuy.

definitely a good pair of headphones if you have the money for them i think they are worth the price i got them on sale around christmas and i absolutely love them very good the equalizer is amazing too and really comfy and not too heavy i wear them all throughout the day and have no problems

These headphones are UNREAL!! Off the bat, I love the bass and sound quality. I've had them for about a year now. They are so comfortable; I can wear them for long periods of times. Good for going to the gym, running errands, or just listening to music. The ANC noise cancellation is great. There is an app compatible with most phones that can be used to change audio settings and more! I would recommend 9/10!

Great quality, sound and fit. Love how comfortable they are to where all day in noisy data centers. Also love them when flying. No more crying baby or constant jet noise. Purchased an Airfly Bluetooth transmitter for air plane audio jack and now I don’t have worry about cords. Glad I took the leap during Memorial Day sales.

These are exactly what I needed! They have great sound and the ANC works great at my job where there is some consistent production noises. I have been using them for a week now and am not disappointed at all. They comfortably fit over my ears without looking too bulky. I only wish I had noticed that the black color had rose gold metal accents instead of bronze.

I’ve never really owned high end headphones worth this much. I purchased them considering how it will fit my lifestyle otherwise I wouldn’t need to own them. I’ve tried on some Beats by Dre and some lower end wired headphones but so far these Sony’s are as good as they say. Dre’s are too bassie and they don’t have the app features Sony’s app has. I did consider the 900’s but I thought with my Best Buy card I might as well get the nicer ones. I like the multi-connection feature for work. I’m a designer so the noise-canceling really helps me concentrate away from my coworkers. I learned I didn’t have to have volume up so high. The noise-canceling helps big time and keeps my ear drums safe lol. Honestly if I’m chilling easy, 50% volume is crisp but 80% if I’m hyped. Anything above that starts getting too loud for me. Fitment is nice and light but I can’t have them on longer than two hours. They fit comfy around my neck and people love their look. I have the gray ones. They also fit well around my hat. The noise-canceling may not be 100% but I adjust the canceling anyway when I use my hat which will almost always be outside of work. Sound quality is good. I like all types of music like OVO, indie, jazz, lofi... the frequency response rate is fine on these. I know the 900’s have a different hrtz rate that is supposed to get you a bassier sound but these will pick up all the low freq you’ll ever need honestly. Overall I think for the price, even with it tapping into the 400ish dollars, it’s kind of worth it? If you can afford it. Like I said, if it wasn’t for my Besy Buy card I wouldn’t of bought them outright only bc it’s not in my priority budget wise. Hope this helps someone.

I absolutely LOVE these. Ive owned the for 5 months now. The noise cancelling is about a 4.5 out of 5. If you have music or something playing that 4.5 is taken to a 5 cause you can't hear anything outside then unless you switch it to ambiet noise. If you have noisy roommates, etc., you will love these. Sound quality is around a 4.7 for me. Best headphones ive ever owned. You have to download a free app for your phone to use them. There, you can change the tone of the sound in several different ways. These are the best. If your looking for peace around you, pick them up. They charge quickly. Padding is A+++ and extremely comfortable to wear for hours. Be patient if your having issues setting them up. Included is a charging cable and very nice hardshell carrying case.

I have these headphones for 3 years now and I can definitely say these are one of the best headphones out there. These over the ear headphone are very comfortable to wear! It’s great for folks who like workout! They wrapped around nicely around your neck so doesn’t feel bulky at all! There minimal buttons on the headphones so it’s all through a touch interface on the headset. You can even turn them off if you like on the Sony app! The noise cancellation feature is great and helps me focus on what I need to do and the battery life is excellent! I definitely would recommend the replacement plan if you use these often!
