I really enjoy these headphones. I use them almost everyday and they are perfect when travelling. I love that they provide the headphone jack for airplanes. I had no idea that airplanes made this switch but the provided jack is CLUTCH! The noise cancelling feature is pretty darn good. Overall these headphones are worth a purchase. Very comfortable and one of the best features is that you can connect to 2 different devices at a time. Audio can easily switch from my phone to my laptop without much effort on my end.

First Sony headphones in the XM lineup to support LDAC for customized EQ (XM3 doesn't support this). Audio quality had a big improvement because of this. Unfortunately multipoint Bluetooth doesn't support LDAC, so I'm keeping it off. Who needs multipoint connectivity when you can easily tap the headphones with NFC enabled devices and switch as you please. Best and most comfortable headphones in this price range.

I have never treated myself to nice headphones, I have only used the free bud set whenever I have upgraded my phone. With the lines starting to fray, I decided to do some research and buy a pair of bluetooth over the ear headphones. All blogs and reviews pointed to Sony WH-1000XM4, and when I went to Best Buy and tried them out vs others it confirmed it. Not only do they perform incredibly well- audio quality, bluetooth range, noise cancelling efficiency- but they are comfortable and really aesthetically pleasing. My husband bought the other main contender (Bose 700) and we were able to compare directly using the same songs. Though I think the audio is slightly better with them (more layered), Sony wins everywhere else and I am really glad I chose them.

One of the best headphones ever! I have sensory issues so these headphones do an AMAZING job of blocking out sound. When i need pure silence, I pair these bad boys with some 'loop' earplugs. Sound is stunning, listening to music has never been more enjoyable. My ears do get sore after using them after a while, but otherwise these headphones have been relatively sensory friendly! My spouse loved mine so much, they got their own haha!!

I have never been the type of person to buy expensive headphones. The most I've spent on a pair of headphones before this was $129 on the Logitech Pro X headset, which I used for a few years and really enjoyed. Recently, I was thinking a lot about cutting the cord and going Bluetooth for my headphones. No more tripping over the cables! I'd always heard good things about this pair of headphones, but I'd never considered them because of the price. I managed to pick these up on sale during black friday and it's quickly become the best purchase I've made this year. Not only is the bluetooth connection reliable, the sound quality is FANTASTIC for a pair of bluetooth headphones. Naturally there are some compromises in terms of sound quality when you use a wireless connection vs a cable, but the good news is that these headphones also allow for a wired connection as well. They come with a 3.5m cable that you can connect to the headphones, and in my testing it worked and sounded just as good as you'd expect for the price. I use them in bluetooth mode with sound cancelling enabled and can easily go two days without charging them, the battery life is phenomenal coming from a pair of Bluetooth earbuds. I highly recommend these headphones if they're on sale - but if you have the money to burn, even at normal price I would say these headphones are more than worth their price, considering the sound quality, noise cancellation, and feature-set are all top notch.

I’ve listened to Bose, beats and a lot of other headphones but the are clearly the best sound and sound canceling headphones I’ve ever owned or listen to.

I've owned the previous version for two years now. These have exceeded my expectations. The sound is clearer while adding a wider soundscape. The noise cancelling have been improved. Ambient sound inclusion feature sounds clearer due to a reduction in static noise polluting the sound. My favorite feature however, is the multipoint device switching. I use these at work so being able to go easily from one phone to the other is a godsend. The only con for me is that I don't own two of them.

This is my first premium headphone purchase, and I’m very happy with them. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, the microphone works well for work calls, and the touch pad is responsive and easy to use. I’m happy with the battery life. The connection to 2 Bluetooth devices is seamless and really easy to set up. Used for airplane travel, and the noise cancellation made the airport experience so much better. I will say that during the flight, air pressure in my ears felt weird for a few days. The material is prone to smudges.

definitely a good pair of headphones if you have the money for them i think they are worth the price i got them on sale around christmas and i absolutely love them very good the equalizer is amazing too and really comfy and not too heavy i wear them all throughout the day and have no problems

I think i saved my money well for these headphones, having waited for over a year, saving my money for the longest for these headphones, i can prowdly say that these headphones do NOT dissapoint. Down to the sound quality, to the noise cancellation, and even the touchpad to switch music, pause music, answer and end phone calls. These have become my favorite headphones to this day, one of the things that caught me off gaurd is the 360 audio, having listened to many different generes of music, listening to my favorite songs and music artist and realizing how much it really effects the music was outstanding. 100 out of 10 purchase would definitely get it again if these ones ever broke.

these are amazing!!! The noise canceling works even before you play any music! I live in a really loud house and these drown out the sounds so good!! Not to mention that the features are super easy to use and you can customize the sound through the app. You get a really nice case with the headphones, as well as a cable if you don’t like them to be wireless. The only issue I have is that whenever I call someone on my I Phone, the Bluetooth disconnects, but it’s not too much of an inconvenience to connect back to Bluetooth through the call. These are so good and I highly recommend them, I’ve never been in so much peace!

[I want to preface this by saying I'm not a Sony "fan" I'm not giving a good review because of the brand, this is my genuine opinion] Been using em for a couple months now and the build quality is great, very sturdy, and the audio is high quality. If you love bass, you're all good with these headphones, if the default sound is not to your liking, you can easily change it with the Sony app. the only thing I will say is, these headphones pick up fingerprints kinda easily, so if you're nitpick about that maybe consider getting a lighter color.

I really love these headphones. I love the features it comes with (hand over the right side will increase ambient sound to allow you to hear what’s going on). I also love that the app allows me to change the audio equalizer. I love the Excited equalizer (just enough bass and clarity). However, the I did experience some discomfort wearing these headphones. But it’s because my ears are used to in ear earbuds. So if you’re transitioning to over the ear headphones, it may feel weird at first. But after a while, I’ve gotten used to it. They are also super easy to set up, I had no issues. The battery life is also too notch. Absolutely love them.

This product has been great use for my benefit. The purchase was worth it and I would recommend this product to people who are looking to invest in high end and sleek headphones for everyday use. The headphones include an incredible noise cancelling system and provide the best quality of sounds for your music, audiobooks, and anything else you can think of!! The headphones come in 3 different astonishing shades of color that go with almost any outfit you can put together. The microphone system is also great and is very helpful for taking meetings for work or even just calling a friend or family!! Overall I think the purchase was very worth it and im looking forward to future new products of Sony that will be just as amazing!!

I love these headphones! The sound quality & volume are great. They’re also really comfortable on my head and don’t make my ears hurt. I use them everyday and they don’t have to be charged very often. I’m really glad that I bought these.

I honestly can't suggest these headphones enough, GET THEM, and if you dont like them for the first week then return them. Be Warned They will bring a smile to your face because they bring Life back into your music. IMPORTANT: I suggest to close your eyes when using them, it elevates the experience. Clarity: 10/10 Based on the song, you'll probably have an out of body experience when using these headphones. Base: 9/10 Change default settings for more base if need be. The settings you chose will make you hear things you didn't Noise Canceling: 10/10 Better than bose, without the pain. Battery: 10/10 Charge for 10-30 minutes get hours of playback. Overall: 10/10 Yet another BestBuy.
