Top of the line with Excellent Noise Cancelling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a Bose user for years because of their excellent noise cancelling but decided to try something else, and I'm so glad that I did. As far as I'm concerned, the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones are the best noise cancelling headphones that I've owned. The case is small and the headphones fit nicely. The case has a nice spot for the USB cable and the odd airplane adapter. The ease of Bluetooth connecting to both my iPhone and HP Windows 10 laptop was without issues and the automatic switching between the two devices is flawless. Adaptive Sound Control monitors your physical location and changes as you move to different areas. I could go on and on but because of the many options in the app, I'm still learning what these headphones can do. All I can say is that if you tried the latest headphone from Bose, you will not be disappointed with the Sony's

Great sound

When noise cancellation is on things like wind or ac can cause weird scratching noise, but otherwise noise cancellation is very good and the auto adjustments based on situation are very cool.

Bose vs. Sony?

After years of being a Bose customer I struggled with a change to Sony. The Sony set sounded like it offered more noise reduction and felt lighter to wear during long days of virtual conference calls. I am not sorry I bought Sony - love them.

Great for noise cancellation

Not the full sound immersion I had hoped for.....

I was not impressed with these headphones. I have Sony headphones to work at my computer that were $100+ but for this price I was expecting to full sound immersion. I had my 19 year old test them and she agreed and added that they have little base which is important for workout music. Sorry, I really wanted to Love these headphones. Maybe the WH1000XM5 are better?

The active noise cancellation is top notch and the sound quality is amazing. The only downside to these headphones are that there are only 3 colors to choose from but other then that I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

Technology at it's best

Great noise cancelling headphones

Great Noise Canceling, average call quality

The call quality continues to be average as the update on the microphone appears to be very small compared with XM3 version. Having the ability to pair two devices simultaneously is the main and probably only justification if you want to upgrade from XM3.
