It is harder for him to distinguish speaking in movies and this helps with isolation of the voices. He also enjoys his music, so the high res is a great buy.

Great for noise canceling but a little heavy.

The only thing he would change would be the weight, he says they feel a little heavy when he uses them.

Great noise cancelling

The only con is that after some time they hurt the ears and cause sort of a headache. Check if they fit your ears, otherwise it could be a painful experience.
