There is a defect the warranty will not cover

But it has been under a year, and they have broken due to a defect in the right swivel piece. I was literally putting them on my head like I always do, and the right swivel cracked. When I went to Sony for the 1-year warranty, they said they wouldn't cover physical damage even though this is a defect common in this specific kind of Sony headphone. They then wanted me to pay $90 only for labor to get them fixed. This $90 did not include the other cost that would be required. I would also have to pay for shipping both ways, which was $20 each. So if you don't mind them breaking in under a year and paying such a large price, then get them. The headphones have good sound quality but take a long time to connect to devices and can sometimes randomly disconnect. The sound quality is phenomenal, though, so there's that. But all in all, I feel like I've been robbed and wasted my money.
