A big differnce from the other headphones that's start with the Letter B is that whenever you remove these headphones from your ears...... the music or video you're watching STOPS!!!! I just thinks that's a cool feature. And they're very comfortable to wear! Takes the C charger and chargers up very fast!

None of the 'smart' features actually work.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a shame, but most of the 'smart' features of these headphones don't really work: 1) They don't reliably pause when removed (and start playing again when you've not returned them to your head) 2) They can't tell the difference between loud noises (like working in the garage) and speech, so it incorrectly toggle active noise suppression. They sound great. The noise cancelation is great. The range is great. The app is really very good and the controls are well thought out. They're very nice headphones, but you're paying for a bunch of 'smarts' that simply don't work. After much trial and error, I've turned each of these features off.

Posted .Hi PerverseOsmosis, We regret to hear that you're having an issue with the WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. We apologize if the WH-1000XM4 headphones won't pause or the Wearing Detection function doesn't work. This may occur after moving from a cold to a warm place or after wearing the headphones under sweaty conditions. If the proximity sensor part inside the left unit housing gets fogged up, or if there are water droplets on it due to condensation or humidity (from changing temperatures or sweat, for example), the Wearing Detection function may not work properly. If this happens, leave the proximity sensor part facing up until the moisture disappears. In order to prevent it from being scratched, do not touch or wipe the proximity sensor part. Listening to ambient sound quickly (Quick Attention Mode). This function turns down the music, call sounds, and the ringtone to allow ambient sound to be easily heard. It is useful when you want to listen to train announcements, etc. To activate the Quick Attention Mode
Touch the entire touch sensor control panel of the headset. The Quick Attention Mode is activated only when you are touching the touch sensor control panel. To deactivate the Quick Attention Mode
Release your hand from the touch sensor control panel. About the instruction manual video

Crisp and perfect sound

Solid headphones for the price with great sound
