After upgrading because the model I had broke after about 5 years of wear and tare. I eventually encountered a problem with the automatic audio adjustment. The problem was fixable through the app I think that may have caused it in the first place. After getting past that issue(check the online Manuel if you have this problem) the love I originally developed for this has returned.

You can hear ambient sounds through the microphones embedded in the left and right units of the headset while enjoying music. You can change the settings of the Ambient Sound Mode by connecting the smartphone (with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app installed) and the headset via Bluetooth connection. Voice focus: Unwanted noise will be suppressed while announcements or people’s voices are picked up, allowing you to hear them as you listen to music. Hope this helps. The headset features a Sidetone function that lets your voice be heard from the headphones. Make sure to adjust the Ambient sound function by using the Sony Headphones Connect app when using it for phone calls.

I found them a bit fiddly to start with and realised you have to have only the one Bluetooth you need on...or it might not work right. But overall very happy and would give 4.5 stars if I could.

We're glad that you like the sound quality of the headphones. To use the Bluetooth function, both of the connecting devices must be registered in advance. The operation to register a device is called “device registration (pairing)”. If the device to be connected does not support one-touch connection (NFC), pair the headset and the device manually. If the device supports one-touch connection (NFC), you can pair the headset and device and establish a Bluetooth connection by simply touching the headset with the device. Once a device and the headset are paired, there is no need to pair them again. Connect to devices already paired with the headset using the methods necessary for each device.
The headset enters pairing mode automatically when you pair the headset with a device for the first time after you bought it or after you initialized the headset (the headset has no pairing information). When you pair a second or subsequent device (the headset has pairing information for other devices), press and hold the (power) button for about 7 seconds. Check that the indicator (blue) repeatedly flashes twice in a row. You will hear the voice guidance say, “Bluetooth pairing”.
