I bought it for my husband for Christmas. They have excellent sound cancellation because when he has them on sometimes I’m having a whole conversation and I realize he didn’t hear I word I said! So if you feel like not listening to the world around you then these are definitely for you.

The only thing i would have to say though is be careful with the earcups... they can twist and break which can be super annoying. Def recommend getting the two year extension plan from best buy,.

Microphone is practically nonexistent

I was trying to replace my older Bose, and these had decent reviews. The sound quality is nice when listening to music. However, the mic is terrible! Nobody hears me when I’m talking to them through my phone. I’m returning these because of the mic issue. For the price I paid, I expect the microphone to at least function. I’ll stick with Bose.

This is definitely not the listening experience we'd like you to have. We'd love to help you troubleshoot your problem and turn you experience around.
Please try the following to help improves call quality.
Check that both the headset and the connected device (i.e., smartphone) are turned on.
Turn up the volume of the connected device and the volume of the headset if they are too low.
Check the audio settings of the Bluetooth device to make sure the sound is output from the headset during a call.
Use the Bluetooth device to re-establish the connection. Select HFP or HSP for the profile.
If you are listening to music with the headset, stop playback and tap the touch sensor control panel twice quickly (with an interval of about 0.4 seconds) to respond to an incoming call.

Please also ensure your headphones' software is updated. You can check and update the software using the Sony | Headphones Connect app.
