Good ANC headphones but Sony lags behind Apple

The “smart” features are a hit or miss though. Some really dumb limitations as well like only remembering two devices! Come on Sony, why can Apple do more and you cannot?! The sensor that detects if you have the headphones on doesn’t work if you’re laying on the bed... what a terrible design. Overall, Sony’s software development is far behind Apple when it comes to designing smart features for devices. I don’t recommend these headphones at full price, but at $278 it’s a must buy.

Great sound quality, poor Bluetooth

But the Bluetooth connection with my computer is a big let down. I’ve tried multiple computers and I’ve gotten noticeable sound delay, it makes watching videos unbearable. I’m forced to use wired connection when using a computer to get the full experience, but I would prefer to have a wireless experience.

Due to the characteristics of Bluetooth® wireless technology, there may be a delay in audio playback when viewing videos. Also, a slight delay occurs in the receiving end when making calls or during music playback.

Maybe I just got a bad set, but when they switched to noise canceling, you hear a bunch of swishing sounds.

The first step to resolve this is to use the NC Optimizer function in the Sony Headphones Connect app, which calibrates the noise canceling for your specific fit and environment. Also, please check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off in the app, as this can sometimes cause intermittent sounds.
