||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never been more infuriated by a pair of headphones. I'm honestly shocked that these have any good reviews. I used to have an older, cheaper version of these that cracked and broke so I decided to buy this model and that was a huge mistake. Here's why I hate them: (1) They disconnect from whatever they're paired with for no reason over and over and over again. (2) When they are connected, the idiotic "speak to chat" feature is automatically enabled each time you turn the headphones on. You can turn it off, but it automatically turns itself back on at random, so anytime you make a sound while wearing the headphones (like sneezing, breathing, opening the fridge door, anything that produces an audible noise) the sound automatically pauses. (3) The Bluetooth voice that says "Power on," "Power off", "Bluetooth connected", etc is at MAX volume and there is no way to adjust it. It is WAY TOO LOUD. In conclusion, these headphones are horrible and I'm so mad that I wasted any money on them.

We want to help resolve these issues: For the disconnections, please ensure the headphones' firmware is updated and try resetting them to factory settings via the Sony | Headphones Connect app. You can permanently disable 'Speak-to-Chat' in the app; if it keeps reactivating, this is usually solved by a firmware update or a full reset. The volume of the voice guide is linked to the system volume of your connected device, so please try lowering that volume before powering on the headphones. The sound quality was pretty good, but it is not for me because my head felt much pressed after 30 minutes of wearing this. Didn't experience this with my old Bose 35II. Hope Sony to improve the comfort of device in the future version.

Also the usb c charging cable that comes with the box is intimidatingly short. The sound has too much bass to my taste but the noise cancellation works great. Already returned this headphone to the store due to the disconnecting issues when connecting multiple devices.

Tested them on a 5hr flight and I could hear a baby crying at the back of the plane.

I use them for a week, but constantly found that my right ear tip would hurt. I did some more research online and found that this is a very common problem. I also did not like how sweaty my ears and sides of my head would get when I used them outdoors it made me feel uncomfortable, especially around other people. I feel that this would be a great product if Sony would just fix the ear cushions. I ended up buying AirPod Max’s instead.

Who wouldn’t? This can connect to 2 devices at the same time and the proximity sensor is a bonus. I love it. Also - its blue and I am a sucker for this color. Love it so much I wear it all the time.
