Hi Luke, We're very grateful for this positive feedback! While it works seamlessly to iOS and Android device, we regret to hear you're having a little delay when connected to a PC. Please make sure to update the firmware to the latest version as it will improve the general performance of the headphones. Also, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology, there may be a delay in audio playback when viewing videos. To ensure a comfortable fit and to use the unit for longer periods, please adjust the left and right slider. This unit also has super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads foamed urethane that evenly distributes pressure.

While we're glad you like the features of your WH-1000XM4, we regret to hear that the unit had to be returned. If you want to use the unit as wired headphones, you can use the supplied headphone cable and still enjoy High-Resolution Audio music or use functions such as noise canceling/Ambient Sound Mode, just turn the headphones on. They still sound awesome when wired in for listening, without any of the features the app makes available.

We hope you will consider Sony again in a future purchase.

Thank you for an amazing review. We're happy to hear you like the noise canceling feature of the XM4 headphones. We're sorry to hear that you are having sound issues when PC is connected to WIFI. Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions.

When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device
In this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
There is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.

The WH-1000XM4 is a new design, with intelligent and intuitive Ambient Sound Control features that include improvements to Multipoint connection and our industry-leading Noise Cancelation, exceptional sound quality, and Smart Listening that adjusts to your behavior and location. The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Thank you for sharing your experience. While we are happy thayt you like our XM4 for listening to your favorite music, we're sorry to hear that you are having issues when using it for phone calls. Please allow us to help you fix this issue.

You may try these steps:
- Check that both the headset and the connected device (i.e., smartphone) are turned on.
- Turn up the volume of the connected device and the volume of the headset if they are too low.
- Check the audio settings of the Bluetooth device to make sure the sound is output from the headset during a call.
- Use the Bluetooth device to re-establish the connection. Select HFP or HSP for the profile.
- If you are listening to music with the headset, stop playback and tap the touch sensor control panel twice quickly (with an interval of about 0.4 seconds) to respond to an incoming call.
