I bought this to replace an old sony headphone. this new one is better in every way. The noise cancelling is great and dampens unwanted sounds. The battery life is good as well. It also very comfortable. Time will tell with its reliability, but its lasted over year and still works great.

Connects to both my laptop and phone at the same time. The noise cancelling is fantastic. Music quality is great. The comfortability is great too. I can wear this for a good 4 hours or so and not be uncomfortable. Like most headphones they do get warm so you do have to take them off get a breather. The battery life is fantastic. The only downside I have is when connected by wire, the headphones do have their bluetooth connection turned off. So if you are connected to a xbox controller you can't connect to your phone over bluetooth. But other then that they are great.

I could go on and on about how much I love these headphones. The sound quality was my primary motivation, but my experience has been great overall. There are other convenient features, such as the ability to swipe on the outer side of headphones covering your ears. This action can pause/play, skip, and adjust the volume. From what I’ve heard from friends, they can’t tell the difference on a phone call when I’m using them to speak. The material is very nice and doesn’t flake or tear as I’ve experienced with other brands. In addition, there is an app that allows you to connect to them and customize the audio to your liking. This includes the level of bass, treble, etc. It can even process pictures of your ears to create the “best sound” according to the shape of them. I have had them for about a year and hope they continue to last for a long while.

A Sony loyalist. I own the 1st gen, 3rd gen and now 4th gen. I hope they bring this style back as the 5th gen are not foldable. Every gen hs an incremental improvement in sound comfort and weight, definitely better sound and quality than Apple products.

Incredible headphones! Comfortable, noise cancelling, awesome sound quality, and I can go for multiple days without charging them up. Without these I could not have written my Ph.D. dissertation. Super grateful to Sony and my little brother for helping me get these!

These headphones do a great job of cancelling ambient noise. They are also comfortable to wear all day and I like the fact that I can set them up to either pause when removing them, or powering off. They sound really good for music and Podcasts.

I got the Sony WH-1000XM4 on sale and couldn’t be happier! The noise-cancelling technology is impressive, the sound quality is excellent, and the comfort is top-notch. Definitely one of the best deals out there — amazing value for the price!

These are by far the best headphones I’ve owned. I am very sensitive to noise specially when studying, and these are perfect for canceling it. They are very comfortable, too. Battery lasts all day

comfortable for long wear. the noise cancelling is about what everyone says it is. blocks out about 80-90%, some frequencies still come through, but overall the average person wouldnt notice. very comfortable for long period wear. battery life is more like 20-24 hours but charges quick. wouldnt recommend them for any active like going to the gym since they're not waterproof, but for everyday uses and travel its the best price to performance set of headphones.

Excellent headphones, very light and super comfy I can wear them all day long without feeling discomfort. Sound-wise they're great, nice rich bass although I would've loved a bit more volume. Noise cancelling in my experience with these is no joke, with the self learning software you will barely hear anything else, with music pumping out or not. Just some occasional hissing while used in pure noise cancelling.

Hands down the best headphones I've ever owned! I was never the one to splurge on headphones until I had a really long flight that I wanted to be able to sleep on. First off the music sounds incredible. I have listened to tracks that I love and have listened to hundreds of times and have noticed little nuances of the song I've never heard before. The treble hi and low ranges are insane and the bass hits just hard enough with no cracking or other issues. The noise cancelling feature works so well I still can't believe how good it is. I also love the fact that you can put your palm over the right earpiece to deafen the noise canceling allowing you to hear other people or important things like announcements without taking the headphones off. Google assistant works very well allowing me to call, check notifications, or text without having to pull my phone out. I guess my only negative thing I have to say about them is sometimes if i lean my head and it hits my shoulder during a workout the motion control on the headphone will change songs or mess with the volume. All in all this is the absolute best pair of headphones you can buy in my opinion and totally worth the money. This may be the best electronics purchase I have ever made! If you are on the fence about purchasing them but have the money to do so I would definitely recommend these over anything!!!

Ive had many headphones over the years and these are the best sounding headphones I've ever heard. Very easy to use and great battery life. Only complaint goes for all modern wireless headphones. They all need more volume. I know they design them to not damage hearing but I've been listening to loud music for 55yrs and take full responsibility to my hearing.

I recently bought these after using the second generation version from 2017 with no issues. I didn't need to upgrade them as they were still in good shape but I passed them on to my son and got these for myself. Though my original pair were fine the upgrades on these have really improved and built on the foundation of previous gens to keep Sony top of class in noise canceling, feel and build quality. That's not to mention their rich sound. They are perfect to use in the gym and I don't have to worry about charging them every day because they have such a long battery life. I'll be enjoying these for as long or longer than my last pair from 2017!

im impressive about the quality of the sound technology, i like it very much when i take the headphones off is stop the music so is save the battery, also i can play in same time on 2 devices, and i like it so much when the volume is with touch on the headphone also can change the melody from there. Great sound, great technology, great brand. I love it.

I love using these noise canceling headphones. I can’t even hear anything going on with the outside world when I’m listening to music or talking on the phone. The battery life is fantastic along with the ease of connectivity to my devices.

Overall I absolutely love these headphones. I have the wf-1000XM5 earbuds which I love, but they aren't super comfortable so I bought these. The earbuds have slightly better quality in the sound and noise cancellation but that's understandable since these are only over the ears. These are super comfortable, I can wear them for hours and even sleep with them on. The only issue I have with these is that they don't fit super tight so sometimes they fall off if I move around too much, so if you plan on using these for the gym and you have a small head like me they probably won't work well.

I tested both the latest and very expensive Bose and Sony headphones. I came to the conclusion that Sony beat Bose on every element. The features that Sony have are very impressive for the price. They are very comfortable and not heavy at all compared to the competition. I highly recommend this headphones if you are looking for amazing sound, great Bass, amazing noise canceling and great looks!!

Best headphones ever. Blows Bose away. Noise cancelling is top of the line and I love how they can connect to two Bluetooth devices at once. I can be listening to YouTube and get a phone call and my computer will automatically pause YouTube for the phone, then automatically resume once I hang up the call. They're also very comfortable. I can wear them all day without any discomfort. Battery life is amazing.
