Hi Kenn, While we are glad to hear that you are happy with the sound quality and features of your WH-1000XM4, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with a high pitched squeaking sound coming from the headphones. We'd love to troubleshoot the issue and make this a better experience for you. In the meantime, updating the software of the WH-1000XM4 will help improve the overall performance of the headphones (Version 2.5.0) which you can download and update using the Sony Headphones Connect app.

Also, please try resetting and initializing the headphones.
