I love these headphones so much. They are the best ones I've ever owned. Great comfort and noise canceling, plus a ton of extra features to enhance sound quality. The battery lasts forever. Must have on an airplane!

These have been in use for the past several months and I love mine. True audiophiles might pickup issues in the sound profile, but you aren't really getting anything better than these at this price point. Very comfortable overall and have been using it on long haul flights too. The noise cancellation is pretty decent too.

This is the first pair of noise cancelling headphones I've ever owned. I've been using them for about 2 hours now, and upon first impression, they are phenomenal. The setup is extremely easy - an app that you download through a QR code in the physical manual guides you through the process which is completed in about 5 minutes. I learned a lot of features right off the bat and I'm sure I'll learn more as I use the headphones more. The foam on the ears and the top of the set is extremely comfortable and I don't have any ear discomfort yet. My ears are average sized, so please take that into consideration. The look and feel of the headphones and the case is high quality and feels durable. The footprint isn't too big and they are lightweight which will be great for bringing them along on long trips or in a bag for the day. The sound is fantastic. It truly surrounds you. I know there are options for EQ which i till get into at another time, but out of the box the sound is great. Looking forward to my time with these, thanks Sony!

My wife owns the XM3000's so I had been wanting a pair of my own for some time. Those were already great, but one of my pet peeves was that I always had to carry an extra USB-B cable. I have an Android phone so having everything charge with a USB-C is much easier to deal with. The headphones themselves sound great and having them on with nose cancelling seems like you're in a completely different place. I wear them at the gym and you can't hear any of the clanking at all while using them. These headphones can get loud, if you want them to, and I usually have them at around 60-70% volume. Gestures: They work well once you get used to it, but with anything touch based, it can and does get better over time with software updates. Battery life: It's advertised as 30 hours so shouldn't have any issues with 2 weeks of use. Due to USB C, charging is really fast and you can get 2 hours of use with just a quick 10 min. charge. So if you have a car charger and your headphones are dead on the way to the gym, you can charge them enough for a full session.

The most comfortable headphones on the market. Amazing sound and perfect amount of bass. Only thing I wish was changed is to increase the amount of devices you could have it connected to at once.

Great sound and easily adjustable EQ through the Sony Headphones app. Just used it on a several flights and barely even hears the engines from the plane. Very comfortable (4 hour flights) and holds charge well.

Amazing sound quality, super comfy on ears, and super convenient to be able to fold it into its case. Noise cancellation and battery life are life savers on a long flight.

These headphones are worth it! I started off with the regular AirPods, then got the AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro have a good noise cancelling for everyday use but these Sony’s are impressive! The noise cancellation is the best I have ever used. I have an auto detailing business and always use them when I am working. They do a really good job at noise cancellation, my gas pressure washer, vacuum etc are very loud. These headphones do wonders when it comes canceling all that noise. If these can handle my loud working environment I’m sure it they can handle whatever type of environment you are in. I have seen the decibels get up to 100 according to my Apple Watch and these headphones make the noise very tolerable. I can still hear my machines working but at maybe 20% of the actual noise they make. The battery life is great! I got these on sale for 279. I have seen that sale happen often. They are worth the price! The Sony app is also easy to use and you can have these headphones paired with 2 devices. The controls on the side of headphones are easy to use and took me a bit to get used to since its a swipe motion instead of a clicks (airpods).

These are the best headphones I have had to date! Would recommend. They come with a case and have excellent battery life. You can connect 2 devices to them simultaneously. Very light weight and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Noise cancelling is some of the best and the app offers tons of customization options.

Absolutely the best ANC headphones you can get. I use these everyday and charge only twice a week. I commute by train everyday on the NYC subway and it’s very noisy but with these headphones when ANC kicks in it takes all the noise away and I’m in my own little world enjoying my music as I sit for my stop. Extremely comfortable headphones and have worn them for 3 hours straight without any ear pain. Yes if the weather is warm they will head your ears up and cause sweat. Be careful using these outside in the rain. They don’t react well to water. As they should since they are not water proof.... There are firmware updates once in a while and I believe the app may be set by default to grab them automatically if connected to wifi. App is also great just wish they didn’t remove the sound simulator that was in the app for the XM3. I bought the black and midnight blue color for my wife. Honestly they look the same. The midnight blue is very close to black. I should have bought the silver instead. No big deal though. Please be warn that if you have an apple device you will only be able to use AAC codec not LDAC. Also the bass response is clean and can further be adjusted via EQ on App.

I love the look and feel of these headphones. They are super comfortable. The sound quality is also top notch. I love the feature that detects your voice and pauses what you're listening to and the noise cancellation so you can talk to someone and hear what they're saying. The fact that there's an even newer model is crazy. The price point made this model so worth it and it's still so good. I only have two complaints, and they're totally minor. I know at least one of them is fixed with the newer model, which is that I don't like how they're stored. You awkwardly have to twist one side completely and the other bend at an awkward angle to fit in the case, it's judt a strange way to fit the headphones into the case. My only other complaint is that sometimes the bluetooth connection isn't great and the sound will be static-y. All I have to do is disconnect bluetooth and reconnect and it's fixed. Both minor annoyances that still made the cheaper price for the older model 100% worth it.

Okay here is the real deal. It's an excellent set for around the house, making phone calls it's comfortable as can be but when it's tested against the Bose 700 on a real airplane it's not the device you're going to want for air travel! But I actually prefer it around the house because it's so darn comfortable! I walked into return it but I realized I really like it for home phone calls and just walking around the house using it with the phone, tv, computer. Sound quality is excellent I can see why there's so much hype about it. Noise cancellation for walk around the block and to function around the house is perfect! And it's actually really great in traffic. Where it's not great is on an airplane. That's it I'm going to give it five stars with the caveat that noise cancellation on an airplane could be much much better! It's actually superb for phone conversations picks up right away and everyone says it's super clear and the reception is super clear. So, yes, five stars because if you're not flying it's definitely five stars.

I can not recommend these headphones enough! They check off everything you will ever need. Great noise cancelling, comfort, CRISP AUDIO QUALITY, build & battery life. I work in the media industry as a video editor and when I'm not using studio headphones these are my go to for everyday usage. Video editor stamp of approval/

Have neurological issues and was looking for a better set of headphones than the ones replaced by my previous employer after they threw my previous pair out. Those weren't worth their weight in salt anyways... These do a great job and come with the means to be able to control a few features from your phone. Took a bit of getting used to though because it kept trying to override the noise cancelling with the calling feature, making things louder (complete opposite of what I wanted). But as far as keeping ambient noises out and being good noise cancelling headphones, these are fantastic. I tend to wear them 4-8 hours a day (sometimes more), and they are quite comfortable and don't leave my head or ears feeling too irritated or warm.

These are hands down the best headphones I've ever had. The sound amazing, they are comfortable, and best of all because the XM6s are out these are at a perfect price.

one of the best headphones I have used. The noise is amazing and you are able to customize it using the app, the battery is amazing on these and they dont feel heavy at all!!
