Excellent headphones

Comfortable for the long haul. Solid noise suppression and fantastic sound quality with great bass. I normally do not game using headphones, but these have quickly become my audio unit of choice.

Great, reliable headphones

They charge super fast (20min from dead) and last a long time (like 12hrs) on one charge. Great for work. It's nice to have the app to configure things. Simple touch functions.

so good they freaked me out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.noise cancellation is so good that it freaked me out the first couple of times i used them, they're also really comfortable for me since i prefer over the ear headphones. i live in a loud household, these aren't completely foolproof but they do filter a lot of sound out so it makes working easier.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i love them so so much the sound quality is phenomenal and noise canceling works wonderfully! only thing i dont love is they have to sit pretty far back on my head because otherwise theyd slip and fall off often! otherwise id recommend these to everyone! also the battery lasts ages ive had them for less than a month and ive only charged them once!

Great sound and comfort, poor voice quality

We bought these to use with our cell phones. Returned them because people on the other end of the line couldn’t hear us…said it sounded like we were in a tunnel. If you’re looking for extremely comfortable headphones to listen to music these are a great choice. If you need to use them to talk on the phone…keep looking. We ended up returning these and purchased less expensive headsets with a protruding microphone..not as comfy but people on the other end could hear us clearly. I was very tempted to keep them for air travel.

The issue may be caused by a temporary malfunction of the headphones or connected device, or ambient sound. We recommend resetting the headphones to factory default setting to resovle the issue. Amazing Noise Cancellation and Awesome Music

Pros - Punchy bass and awesome music - Good connectivity to 2 devices and switching between device is flawless (iOS and a mac) - Noise Cancellation is out of the world (Bose do check it out :D ) Cons - Been a bose user all along I feel pressure on my head with the headphones on - Voice quality on phone calls is pretty inferior the receiving person has difficulty hearing me, I have QC35 II and NC700 from Bose on both of them the call quality is fall superior. If Phone call quality can be improved through software update, I would give back the missing star.

The noise-cancelling features have literally been life-changing. If you have sensory processing issues and get overwhelmed by loud environments, these are for you. Really good quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Saw these on TikTok and went to buy, the noise cancelling is so nice you don’t have to turn the music all the way up to hear it in loud environments, i also like that it knows when i speak so it turns off the noise cancelling and pauses the music so i can hear what’s going on. A lil scary how much you CANT hear with these on but they’re very nice 10/10 would recommend, good for the gym too

Great Headphones esp. for Android Users
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new Sony headphones (I'll call them M4's for short) are the latest (and greatest) in Sony's lineup of noise cancelling over ear headphones. They are a feature packed, high tech, well made product. I may be old fashioned, but to me a headphones' most important feature is their sound, and in this feature the M4's excel. They are undoubtedly the best sounding pair of headphones that I have had the pleasure of hearing. The sound is clean and highly detailed, with a good wide soundstage. The bass response is very good as well. I believe that the wide majority of purchasers of the M4's will absolutely love the sound. I mentioned that these headphones are feature rich and the features all actually improve the sound. I like the DSEE enhancement, and in conjunction with the LDAC (which cannot be activated when the M4's are connected to two devices simultaneously) these headphones sound even better. The noise cancelling ability of these headphones is also excellent. I'm sure you noticed in the title of this review, the M4's are an excellent choice, especially for Android users. Why do I say this you may ask? This relates to the Sony Headphones Connect app. On my two Android devices, the app functions flawlessly the first time I downloaded and used it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Apple product. I won't go into great detail here, but I can't get the app to open properly, so therefore some of the features that require the app to be utilized fully are not available. I am using iPadOS version 13.6.1 on my iPad Pro (2018 version). If you are on a iPhone or a different version of the OS, the app may work properly for you. Fortunately, the M4's still work without the app and they still sound very good on my iPad. Hopefully the app will be updated soon to correct the issue. I am basing my rating for the M4's on the basis of the product alone, not the IOS app, but I felt I should at least mention my issue.

Easily connects to bluetooth enabled devices and the touch pad on the right headphone is something I can no longer due without moving forward!

Hands down best set of headphones I've ever owned

I literally wear them everyday - at work, home and everywhere in-between. Not only are they very comfortable, the battery life is remarkable. I can listen to 8hrs of music for several days straight using active noise cancellation and not have to constantly keep charging them. I honestly regret not knowing about them earlier.

The best budget headphones

Best headphones

The competition headphones are bulkier, and heavier. The Sony IV’s fit snug on head, and don’t slip while exercising. I’m not a fan of the touch controls on the ear pad.

Wow!! Worth it!

I never have any issues with pairing to my devices. It took some getting used to with the commands on the side of the ear muff but other than that they’re perfect

Very comfy and adaptable

Good headphones

Only thing I'd comment on is if you plan on using it for your computer & for your phone - you need to download the Sony app to have it connected to multiple devices and switch bluetooth between the devices (even when you disconnect from the laptop or vice versa) - it could be a little confusing for someone if you're buying for an older parent or a kid

Excellent noise cancellation

Best Travel Headphones

No airplane noise bothering me at all. I felt like I actually got some decent sleep. Used them the entire flight and they are still over half way charged. Amazing sound quality as well.
