    Useless for online calls.

    Headphones sound OK. Via its app, you can fix the equalization. Useless for online calls. They disconnect mid-conversation and you only know after you see the other parties' mouths moving but you hear nothing. I turned off all automatic options per some user forums and they still disconnect. Having paid $350 for a basic function like being able to call others when working remotely, and not performing appropriately even on such a basic task, is ludicrous.

      Hi alobosk we're sorry to hear you're having an connectivity issue when using it from online calls. If you don't hear the caller or the caller doesn't hear you during mid conversation, please try these steps. Be sure to check if the issue still occurs after each step.

      Turn the headphones off and on, and then reconnect them to your computer.
      Restart the computer.
      Reset the headphones.

      Note: Depending on the computer or app, the headphones may not work as expected. In this case, try different apps or a different computer to determine if the issue is with the headphones, the app, or the computer.

    not long lasting headphones

    i bought these headphones 2 years ago and i’m telling you, do not get them. i know they are popular and they look good but these headphones stop working out of nowhere! first they didnt want to connect to my phone and then a couple days later they don’t want to charge at all. and it’s not only me, there is tons of people with the same problem like mine. again do not get these headphones if you want to save your money, they will stop working on you out of nowhere!

    2 Headsets failed the exact same way

    Great headphones when they work. Like clockwork they seem to fail every 1.5 years, even with careful use. Had it replaced by sony once but they refused to replace the second headset that failed in the exact same way, after about the same time as the last headset! Basically, the noise cancelling fails, creating feedback in one (or both) of the headphones. The feedback isn't just a background noise, it is a piercing, as loud as the headset can produce, constant tone that happens every time the headset is turned on! You can "circumvent" it by turning off noise cancelling, but the setting won't stay after you turn the headset off, so you have to disable noise cancelling every time your turn it on, with the piercing noise. Great headphones, but unless you're willing to buy them every 1.5 years, not worth.

    Blutooh sucks

    Great headphones but the blutooth wireless connection starts to die after initial use. I thought it was a defective unitand exchanged it for another one. What happens is the signal starts fading in and out with garbbled voices and long periods of no sound. I continually paired unit to make there a good connection and that made no difference. I then went to the instructions and prepared it as per instructions it did the same thing. My $30 blutooth earphones have a better connection than these $350 headphones. Sony, this is a major defect otherwise the headphones are great.

    I don't get all the positive reviews; I'm not a fan. Pros: * Good active noise cancelation * Good EQ settings in the app (mitigates con #1 a little) Cons: * Sound like you're listening to music via a speaker under a pile of pillows * Mic similarly sounds like garbage for calls * No mute switch

      These steps may also help when using the mic function of the headphones:
      -Re-establish the connection between the source device and the headset.
      -When using a video calling application on a computer, switch the Bluetooth connection to HFP or HSP with the computer. During a video call, sound quality may become low due to the conditions of the communication line.
      -You can also check the settings of the app that you are using for mic sensitivity if available.

      The mute function is not available on the headphones. As an alternative, you can check your source device or the app that you are using for a mute function.

    Great noise cancelling, terrible for phone calls

    Buyer Beware. If you are buying these and expecting to make phone calls with them, the noise level heard by the party on the other end is too much. I have a set of Optium Audio ear buds (knock off Beats) and my wife said they sound exactly the same when calling her. However, the noise canceling feature and listening to music is awesome! But it does not serve my purpose so they'll be going back. One day is all I have had them.
