    Terrible build quality

    I bought the WH-1000XM3 headphones from best buy and in less than a 10 months of light usage the plastic housing on the left side came apart at the seam. I call Sony and they told me that is cosmetic and wouldn't honor any warranty service. It is not cosmetic that part holds headrest in so it doesn't come out when adjusting the fit. These headphones have the same plastic housing so be aware.

    Junk. Wasted my money, nothing online that I read stops the cutting on and off. Even the Hardwire connection on this and the MX 2 are not stable. Have to duct tape the cord to the earpiece. Sound quality? If you grew up on mp3 it may sound good to you. Going back to my wired MDR-V600’s.wasted $600 in 4 years.

    Overpriced and terrible for work at home calls.

    The headset sounds fine and the active noise canceling is also good, but nothing special. you can easily get just as good from just about any 260$ pair with ANC. When you buy these you are paying for the Sony name. But the absolute worst use for these headphones is work from home. You can't use them while they are charging and there is no mute button.

    Noise canceling has feedback issue after 15 months

    Used these for 15 months and the Noise canceling went crazy. High pitched squeal/feedback from the left earcup! Make NC unusable. $350 headphones that last for a year! Great job Sony! NEVER PURCHASE YOUR BAND AGAIN!

    Horrible after a year or so

    After about. A year of working pretty flawlessly, now all of a sudden a very loud, high pitch screech will just blow through one of the side, out of nowhere. Its gonna make me go deaf!!!

    I use them to pair to my phone and then connect to my PC. The connection is constantly bad, and I'm constantly having to restart the headphones and re-pair them to either my PC or iPhone to get a good, non-staticky connection. I spent a lot of money on them, and so far I would have paid twice as much to turn back time and have never owned them.

    Defective

    These headphones stopped working properly after a week of normal use. Sony told me that there was a known defect, and sent another pair. The second pair is having the same problem, but Sony customer service is unwilling to help. Best Buy was also unwilling to help. Go with Bose.

    I really like Sony headphones, but this "speak to chat" feature that keeps activating by itself again and again, even when deactivating it in the app, it's so annoying and ruining my experience, I hope it gets fixed

      The Speak-to-Chat mode activates when it detects the speech of the person wearing the headset. but in rare cases, it may activate in response to the voices of other people, ambient environmental sounds, transportation announcements, etc. To disable the Speak-to-Chat function of these headphones, please follow the steps below:

      • Hold 2 fingers to the touch sensor control panel until you hear the voice guidance say, “Speak-to-chat deactivated”.

      Thank you for the review and we're sorry to hear what happened with your headphones. The indicator does not light up. There may be a problem with charging. Make sure that the USB AC adaptor is firmly connected to the AC outlet. When charging the headset through a USB port on a computer, try the following as well:

      - Make sure that the computer is turned on.
      - If the computer is equipped with multiple USB ports, use another port.
      - Connect the headset directly to the computer without using a USB hub.

      We do apologize for the inconvenience. To isolate the issue, please try to reset the headphones to factory default settings and try again. Turn off the headset while the USB Type-C cable is disconnected and then press and hold the (power) button and the CUSTOM button simultaneously for 7 seconds or more. The indicator (blue) flashes 4 times, and the headset is initialized. This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the device and then pair them again.

      We recommend you download the Sony Headphones Connect App so you can adjust the audio settings.

    Problem with earphone
