Get these over the xm5 due to the xm4 ability to fold up and fit in a smaller carry case compared to the xm5 that dont fold at all. The headphones are worth every penny because when you put them on ALL unwanted noise pollution is gone! Perfect companion for NYC commuters!

I ended up using them myself for a few days and they are amazing. Honestly the best sounding wireless headphones I've ever used. The noise canceling is incredible and the features work flawlessly.

Sounds great, my flaws with it

Biggest issues it is pretty big not great for small heads. When going to the gym, need to wear an hat to fit without falling off. And it doesn’t have great communication if trying to use it as a headset for a computer. Or at least mine, I’ve got a Lenovo think pad.

After downloding the Sony headphone and creating my own sound profile, my thoughts did a 180. They sound incredible and i love the hand-to-ear ambient sound feature that allows you to listen in on whats going on around you. Top notch!!

The only real issue is that feature is very sensitive to the point that even when I laugh it goes off. The feature can be turned off so its not an issue for the future so other than that I can recommend these headphones.

If Speak-to-Chat is enabled beforehand, the Speak-to-Chat mode starts automatically when you talk to someone. The headset pauses or mutes the music which is being played and captures the voice of the person you are conversing with on the microphone to make it easier to hear. Right after I got these headphones my basement flooded and part of the cleanup involved leaving very loud fans running all day but with these headphones I couldn't hear them at all. The adaptive sound control is a really neat featured. A bit on the expensive side but if you worth it in my opinion.
