They have been great, but after getting these for my wife, it is amazing the advancements over the years. Sound quality and noise cancelling are the best from all the others we tried.

Surprising upgrade to xm3

Best headphones on the market, until now. The Sony wh-1000xm4 fixed the few MINOR improvements wh-1000xm3's needed. I don't know if a "perfect headphone" exists, but if it does, it's the xm4!

Noise cancellation great, microphone, not so much.

Noise cancellation is great. The microphone isn't the best. While, they have served it's purpose and lasted a year, even on sale, they were pricey. If we had to do it over, we probably would have purchased the Bose for the better microphone.
