Very comfortable (4 hour flights) and holds charge well.

Best Sounding Headphones I've Owned

To be fair, they've served me well, but when my nephew purchased a pair of the WH-1000XM3 headphones last year, I had a chance to try them out. In my opinion, they were much better sounding than my old Bose. I held out from buying a pair though ... until the WH-1000XM4's arrived. I'm so glad I bought these. I'm a bass lover, and these headphones certainly deliver. The vocals are crisp and the dynamic range is great. I use mine with a Galaxy Android phone and the two work together seamlessly. Music pauses when I take the headphones off, and I'm also able to pair it with both my Apple TV 4K and my Fire TV Cube. I recently used them on my first flight (post-covid) and the noise cancelling is excellent. As for the mic ... well, it's clear enough so that I can issue Alexa commands, and it works well for most situations. However, for my work-related Teams calls, I still prefer my older Sennheiser headset with dedicated mic. boom. Overall, well worth the money.

Love these headphones!

I was able to hear instruments to songs that I was unable on other headphones. The fit is super comfortable, and the battery life is great for long trips, etc. Only downside is I am unable to share the app with a friend who has the same headphones to watch a movie while while flying.

I prefer these over the bose due to comfort and quality. It is also controlled with an app which makes it convenient for turning them off and adjusting the setting to meet your room requirements. The battery life is good for an entire week

I know there's an updated version, but this one still delivers and is cheaper than the updated one. Connecting to a device (or even devices) is seamless. Battery life is pretty good, can easily last a whole day and still have some juice left. Overall, it's a worthwhile investment and it even comes with a carrying case.

There's so many options so I've been going back and forth between the XM4, XM5, and Airpod Max. Finally settled on the XM4! I really like it for the folding mechanism and how compact/easy to carry while traveling! The audio is super nice! I'm sandwiched between noisy upstairs and downstairs neighbors, so I can barely hear them with the headphones on. It's also comfortable around my ears/head. I don't feel too much pressure or get headaches when I have them on for an extended period. Overall, a great pair of headphones! Happy to have snagged this on sale too!

I upgraded from the WH-1000XM2 headphones, so I was already accustomed to how good Sony's headphones are in general. Battery life, comfort, pretty much stayed the same. I noticed a nice bump in sound, as well as slightly better noise canceling.

Looked at reviews for weeks until I broke down and spend the buttload of money for them and the protection plan, which in the end will def be worth it. Awesome clear sound, bass is loud, but couldn’t hit low notes as well as I anticipated. Feels great, comfy, and have a lot of different settings, a ton of great functions.

I listen to mostly metal and the low end is good but not overpowering while the high end is excellent. Wish they’d get a bit louder, I find around 90% volume is it’s sweet spot on an iPhone 12. App is quite good, lots of customization. Little pricey but the quality is there.

But you can often find them on sale. I got these on sale and these are by far the best headphones I’ve used. I did buy a lot and returned most of them. We can connect to multiple devices. The base is really good. They are light and easy to use. And the app is pretty extensive. I recommend is highly.

These are solidly around not on the ear. They sound superb with great bass and clarity up high. They support two BT device connections at one time. When you use only one connection it has 360 Reality audio and supports spatial audio from Amazon music and Tidal. It actually is optimized for Tidal's phone app. It measures your ears and outside atmospheric pressure and optimized noise cancelling. The noise cancelling really works well. It also works with Google Assistant and Alexa. Pretty feature packed.

I literally started hearing parts of songs I had never heard before. Battery life is outstanding and they're very comfortable for extended wear. Touch controls are very intuitive. They're definitely on the expensive side, but if you can manage to snag them on sale, I would definitely recommend.

These are also so comfortable that sometimes I fall asleep with them on while listening to music, meditation, or audiobooks at night when I am having trouble sleeping. But, I mostly use these whenever I fly to calm my nerves. The ONLY 2 negatives of these are: 1. You can't charge them and use them at the same time. (But, if you charge them prior to using, they can be used for several hours.) 2. When you connect to multiple devices (I think two devices is the max) there are a lot of "connected/disconnected" messages. So, it's best to just connect to one device at a time.

Don't just put them on, listen to music and decide the sound quality. With these you have to download the app and adjust the EQ to make them sound good but once you dial it in, they are fantastic. I've never once had a drop from the bluetooth connection or distortion even walking away from my phone all over a house. The noise cancellation is great too.
