The sound quality is amazing, and they're extremely comfortable. I wear them while working, for conference calls. They sound good, feel good, and the mic quality is really good too. The noise cancelling is amazing. Over all great headphones.

It is a little lighter on my head, so I don't feel it at all. The bass response is much better too, doesn't distort so fast like the other one did. I'm a fan.

I really like them— theyre comfortable, light, and have cool features. I downloaded the app that they recommended, and with that the headphones basically track my movement and adjust the noise cancellation accordingly. I think that is really neat!! The sound quality and the volumes are also really good. Also, I wish I paid attention more but these are NOT water resistant. Makes me nervous to wear them in the rain, but have been able to avoid that anyway!

It is nice that there is a voice that says whether they are on or off if you don't want to look at the code of lights blinking at you. They are definitely grey. Silver to me implies some level of metallic color. They are just a matte grey. I got these cancel out bass music and domestic disputes from my obnoxious neighbors. They do a really great job doing that. There is a point at which they no longer cancel out the bass noise by merely being on without any additional audio being piped in. The case they come in is nice and hardy. Bluetooth pairing them with my phone was super easy. I would definitely buy these again. Would that they just came in more interesting colors than black and grey.

Clean sound, a lot of modification options using the app, and great battery life. Great that the charging cable and a 3.5mm come in the carrying case. Only complaint so far is they can trap heat on my ears.

Wish I would have gone up to next model where you can connect to 2 Bluetooth and switch between. Only complaints are that when charging and using 3.5mm jack there is some feedback, and the rest pieces didn't allow much breathing for long use.

I previously had a pair of Bose, which are also excellent, but in a different way. The Bose have better noise cancelling, but the Sony headphones have better sound for music and are more comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Very comfortable, easy setup and app has great useful features. On ear feel is amazing as well, the sound quality will blow you away. Good but not great; I'd pick the Bose NR 700s

At least in my experience, the Bose 700s were the better choice when compared to these and even the AirPods Max. These improve the XM3 that came before them, but still have lesser call quality issues when using on Zoom/WebEx and the sound is a bit too boomy when compared to more accurate headphones that are priced similarly.

The WH1000XM4 has a self-adjusting headband and soft cushioned earcups that cover the whole ear. You may try adjusting the headband slider so that they cover your ears. This will help give you more personalized comfort. Having unusually dry skin can store static electricity in humans. A large amount of static electricity in the body and having contact with electrical devices at the same time can cause stress on the device and/or on your body. You can avoid this from happening by wearing clothing of natural materials that can't store static electricity. For the call quality, these can be improved by updating its firmware to the latest version (2.0.7). The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
