Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.XM4 has amazing sound and its noise cancelling ability is unparalleled (I own bose 700 (weaker in sound) and B&W PX7 (weaker in noise cancelling)). The Sony iphone app also has a build-in equalizer. I bought this because of the ability to connect to two devices at once. This feature is a little buggy but I manage to get it to work with an iphone and ipad.

We're glad that you like the sound quality, battery life, comfort, and noise canceling function of the headphones. Your feedback about the multipoint function is greatly appreciated. Depending on the device, silent streaming can continue on the first device when the second device has a Bluetooth connection to the headphones. If this is the case, the headphones remain connected to the first device, and the audio doesn't switch to the second device.
Follow these steps to hear sound from the second device:
1. Open the Sony | Headphones Connect app, select the System tab, and make sure the Connect to 2 devices simultaneously option is set to ON.
2. Stop playback on the first connected device.
3. Close the audio (music) application on the first connected device.

Xm4: - More comfortable - Usage detection - Like 5% better ANC - Speak to deactivate ANC - Better microphone - Connect to two bluetooth devices

Only complaint I have is to get them to recharge. When you plug in the charger It'll charge for 30 seconds and then quit. Sometimes it takes several tries to get them to stay charging. I've heard of several other people having the same issue with them

Also, voice muting is very sensitive. Even if just clearing my throat, the headphones will mute. Sound is good and noise cancelling works well though. Comfortable fit on my ears with no pain from long usage.
