I had a previous version of the same headphones and the small additions that they have made are worth it in my opinion. Is it enough for a year-to-year upgrade? That I am not sure, but for those that are on 2+ year old headphones, this will be sufficient

Excellent Headphones

They are replacing an older model WH-1000XM3, that broke just as the warranty expired. I hope these last longer, as they are the best for blocking airplane noise.

These headphoes arent at all bad for nouse cancelation. They have the atmosphere that you can cgange whoch i thought was pretty cool. But a few con are one there is no bass unlike the skullcandy skullcrusher headphones. Second not loud at all unlike beats by dre. These are pretty neat though.

Superb noise canceling coupled with easy access to the airplane's entertainment system made the flight a relatively good experience, much more comfortable than I have sufferied in the past. I use them almost daily, they sound excellent for wireless, and they are a total gamechanger on airplanes, subways, and riding passenger in a car. They're pricy, but you cant beat em!

You're shut off from construction sites, other passengers on board planes, trains, buses. Love the ability to cup my hand over the right 'phone and instantly my music turns down and I'm able to speak to someone who's addressing me. No fumbling.

Great features like speak to chat, where they stop playing if you start talking and then resume in as little as 15 seconds. App was clunky for me to use at first, but with practice became easier. It analyzed a picture of my ear and then the sound got better based off the picture...WOW!

Use it with Discord and when playing games. Do need to adjust some sound settings in Windows, as usual to get the sound quality back up where it should be. If you want good quality music and bass go ahead and grab you a pair of these but only down side is these really can’t be used for the gym they slide of easily which is the only down side Over all good to just kick back and jam out.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the operations when the unit is charging. Unfortunately, using the headphones while charging is not supported. When the headset is connected to an AC outlet or computer, all operations such as turning on the headset, registering or connecting to Bluetooth devices, and music playback cannot be performed.
The WH-1000XM4 headphones keep you going with up to 30 hours of battery life plus you can get 5 hours worth of charge after just 10 minutes with an optional AC adapter.
