Also major ear fatigue from too strong of a grip, real pain to wear more then 3 hours. Battery life and connectivity were excellent.

Thank you for your feedback on our WH1000XM4. We appreciate this and this will help us improve our future products. Regarding sound quality for Bluetooth, we have 2 modes for XM4. The Priority on sound quality mode which prioritizes the sound quality (default). And, the Priority on stable connection mode which prioritizes the stable connection. When you want to prioritize the sound quality, select the “Priority on sound quality” mode. If the connection is unstable, such as when producing only intermittent sound, select the “Priority on stable connection” mode. It is unfortunate that we can no longer help you troubleshoot your problem. We are optimistic that you will consider Sony again in your future purchases. Regards - Marco

I.E phone and tv or fire stick. Keep in mind that the phone is always connected so you can easily and quickly use the app to switch between any other devices you have connected and stored in the apps memory. Great product.

Glaring flaw

Great sound, easy app, comfortable, solid battery. The biggest flaw i found, and it was the deal breaker, the sound would randomly mute itself and stayed connected. The only fix i figured out was to turn them off then back on again.

While we're glad you like incredible audio quality and most of the features, we regret to hear you're experiencing unexpected issues with the headphones drops out audio or no sound is heard. We want to make sure that you’re taken care of and go through some troubleshooting with you to make sure your headphones are great. Make sure to update the firmware of the headset by performing a software update (via Sony Headphones Connect app)

Use this headset and the Bluetooth device as near to each other as possible. The situation may be improved by changing the wireless playback quality settings. Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode or fixing the wireless playback mode with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.

The only con is that to use all the features you have to download the app, also if you wear them and talk the music pauses and it activates a Siri like feature
