Not satisfied with overall sound..

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these's to compare to my Sony WH-XB900N and the WH1000 were very disappointing for several reasons...the over sound is better on my Sonys 900N..plus i had to turn the volume up louder on the WH1000 just to be satisfied with the music i was listening to and thats even with adjusting the EQ.. finally theres a setting with the X WH1000 in the Sony app called " pressurizing" and can't disable so I felt there was pressure in my ears and would make feel i couldn't hear properly... Finally i'm not a fan of the Noise canceling technology on any headphones but at least the Sonys 900N allow me to disable that feature and enable the ambient mode so it doesn't feel like i have pressure in my ears... So I recommend the Sony WH1000XM4

Pretty mediocre | A wire oriented

Mid-and low-frequencies are mixed and the overall picture is lost in terms of details and clarity. There is certain normalization ( cuts ) of sound at all stages, and I think this is due to the Bluetooth hardware used here. True, consistent sound with attack, details and clarity emerges when you attach the headphones to the wire that comes with the kit. Yep, you hear me - a WIRE! On this basis, it becomes apparent that it makes no sense to purchase these headphones, which are marketed as premium wireless headphones. It's not that, and it's all pretty mediocre.

Waste of Money

I’ve barely had these headphones for three months and they already broke on the right side. A quick Google search will show you that this is a common issue but despite being under warranty, Sony refuses to repair the damage for free. Even the repair person that I spoke with said that this is a problem with the Sony XM4s as well as the Sony XM5s but Sony won’t repair them for free unless I make a big fuss. I’m so upset that I wasted my hard earned money on these. these are not worth it.
