They have great noise canceling to the point where you can't hear anything other than what is playing on the headphones. I love the sound and now use the headphones more than I do my airpods.

The only real issue is that feature is very sensitive to the point that even when I laugh it goes off. The feature can be turned off so its not an issue for the future so other than that I can recommend these headphones.

If Speak-to-Chat is enabled beforehand, the Speak-to-Chat mode starts automatically when you talk to someone. The headset pauses or mutes the music which is being played and captures the voice of the person you are conversing with on the microphone to make it easier to hear. The sound quality is superb and the touch pad controls work well as long as you are slower and deliberate with your movements. The audio can pause whenever you take the headset off, this feature works well enough. In the beginning my music would continue playing once i removed them but i haven't had many issues with it in the past few weeks.

I've been buying this line since XM2 and the improvements in terms of noise canceling have been good, the sound profile has not seen any huge change over the years. The bass is still punchy to the point of overbearing and the mids and treble are not as pronounced as its competitors. It's still the best of its class out there but the next model better have a refresh in design and sound profile or there's no point in upgrading these cans for the next couple of years.

Biggest issues it is pretty big not great for small heads. When going to the gym, need to wear an hat to fit without falling off. And it doesn’t have great communication if trying to use it as a headset for a computer. Or at least mine, I’ve got a Lenovo think pad.
