    These headphones are extremely immersive. The modular equalizer allows you to adapt the sound to your liking and to the specific music you’re listening to. One feature I wish was available to me is the ability to name a specific equalizer subset instead of just having the default name of “custom 1” in the Sony Headphones app. Aside from that, these headphones are both superb in quality and in their aesthetic. Truly a beautiful piece of tech both in and out.

    I got these for the LDAC bluetooth capability. It worked well, and sounded pretty good. However, I returned these since my Apple Airpods Max sounded just as good to my aging ears. So, these became unnecessary. If you won't be connecting to apple products, pick these over the the AirPods Max, they are a way better value. If you do plan to use with Apple products, the AirPods max will give you a better more robust experience.

    In my opinion, these are the best wireless noise canceling headphones you can buy. They have very good range, a bit of a bass boost, but nothing too muddy. And the noise cancellation is superb.

    i already own the xm2's but was looking for a new pair because they started to hurt my ears. these have angled drivers so it stops the drivers from touching and pressing on your ears. these are way more comfortable b and the noise cancellation is slightly better, but the actually sound of the headphones are pretty much the same

    Long time Bose Quiet Comfort user (3 pairs in last 6 years). Last pair developed a rattle and squeal recently, so I needed a new pair. Was frustrated with the terrible range of the Bose (basically disconnected beyond 10 ft) and hated the constant “connected” “disconnected” voice in my head. Was time to try something different. I love my new Sony’s! The range is fantastic. Upstairs, downstairs, outside and they stay connected. No issues with call quality (which was a concern). Customizing the sound in the app is easy. They are comfortable to wear all day and I rarely hear the voice in my head (but it is a pleasant voice when I do!). Glad I made the switch, and they were cheaper too!

    These run a bit hot on my big head, but the sound quality is fantastic. Its spoiled all my other sound systems. Need to put some time into figuring out how to make them comfortable (for me I have to wear them at max extension), while not slipping in the gym (much tighter), and the cushions are maybe a bit thin for super long wearing. Hurts after a few hours.
