One unique issue that may or may not matter to some...is that during phone calls, the noise canceling does not works as well for the caller as it does for me. I do not hear any background noise but they do hear some. Not sure if that is just my head set of typical.

During calls, the headphones' microphones pick up ambient sounds regardless of the Ambient Sound Control function setting. This is due to the Sidetone function, which makes it easier to talk using the headphones by allowing you to hear your own voice naturally. As a result, the noise-canceling function works differently during calls compared to when you're listening to music.
This means that while you may not hear the background noise, the person on the other end of the call might still hear some ambient sounds. This is not a malfunction but rather a design feature of the headphones. If this is a significant issue for you, you might want to consider using a different environment for calls or exploring other headphone models that might better suit your needs for phone calls. Although the noise canceling is superb, I've had issues with the reception cutting out intermittently. I don't know whether that is a blue tooth problem, but it's frustrating when listening to music, and I wouldn't recommend it t for phone calls or Zoom meetings. I have a less expensive model (WH-CH700N) which more than meets my needs. Fortunately, I bought it on sale so I can live with my mistake. But, buyer beware, assess your needs carefully, and make a more informed purchase.

We're glad that you like the noise canceling function of the headphones. It's unfortunate that you are experiencing connectivity issues. Make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. These steps may help you resolve the issue:
-Using the Sony Headphones Connect app, set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode.
-Remove any obstacles between the antenna of the connecting Bluetooth device and the built-in antenna of the headset.
-Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions:
a. When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device. In this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
b. There is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
c. In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
-Connect the headset and the Bluetooth device once again.
