The WH-1000XM4 features our Dual Noise Sensor technology, which uses two microphones on each earcup to block out ambient sound. Great sound and great bass. If bass isn’t your think you can always go into the EQ on the Sony’s headphones app and adjust as you like. Get these headphones you won’t regret it

I cant figure out how to read my notifications- even with the app downloaded. But its not a big deal, I hear the chime for every notification.

About reading notifications aloud, the Sony | Sound Connect app itself does not directly display or read notifications; instead, notification reading is typically managed through your phone’s voice assistant (like Google Assistant or Siri) and their integration with the headphones.
To get notifications read to you, please follow these steps:
-Enable your phone’s voice assistant (Google Assistant for Android, Siri for iPhone).
-In your phone’s settings, allow the voice assistant to read notifications. For Google Assistant, you can customize which apps can send spoken notifications to your headphones.
When a notification arrives, the assistant should read it aloud through your headphones if everything is set up correctly. If not, check that notification access is granted to your voice assistant and that your headphones are selected as the output device.

The only issue is the call quality. The headphones pick up noise all around very easily and the person on the other can hear it very easily

When connected the sounds are EXCELLENT and provides the opportunity to be in a world of your own- regardless of the surroundings!! They come with a convenient case. All connectors are included. Bluetooth operated. Well worth the cost!

Great sound & comfort w/ gauges

I have gauges in my ears and I have zero issues with wearing these & the noise cancelling is still pretty good! Too much noise can be triggering for me so these are great to be in a quiet place inside my mind lol I also like the fact that I can place my hands on the outside of the earphones and be able to hear whatever & whoever is talking to me. I’ll never watch anime on my phone without these headphones. IYKYK lol

Amazing Headphone for Students

I used to have XM3 before but I think it is worth upgrading. Here are some features I liked about new XM4: - Multiple Device Support - Auto pause/play - Speak to Chat (Loved It!) - Best in class noise cancellation - Best sound quality - Different modes based on activity like sitting, walking, running, etc. I would recommend this headphones to every student/professional who is reading this review.
