It sounds just as great as the XM3s and the NC, IMO, seems better. The option to pair with two devices at the same time is useful though I would prefer if we could do more devices (I regularly switch between multiple devices and pairing again and again is a bit annoying when I exceed the limit). Unfortunately, that is really all that is new in this headphone, IMO. The speak-to-chat feature is annoying and I ended up turning it off. Battery life is the same. There is an addition of a sensor to the left cup to pause media when the cans are taken off. I find it hard to award this headphone 5 or 4 stars since there is hardly anything new except the option to pair with two devices simultaneously and the minor ANC improvements.

Worth the money if you listen alot or want it to be quiet. Occasionally the touch surface swipe is misread but I wonder if the headphones just aren't always on straight

Great battery life, excellent sound quality, and on long flights with kids it did it's job swimmingly. I will say the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that Sony or BBY keep fluctuating the price and I'd purchased them full price making it weird to recommend. Def a must buy if on a solid sale.

Noise cancelling feature is great, helps to keep the noise down much more in this family setting I am in (kids, dogs, ect). My biggest positive is the charging and battery life. You charge this thing for 5 minutes and I swear it can still last you for two full days!

They are comfortable on your ears and block out almost all sounds. I can not even hear when someone knocks on my door,. I would buy again when I need a new pair

I was in flight with a person using these headphones and I asked about them. He said that the SONY were the best. I went to Best Buy and tried Beats, Bose, and others and when I put on the Sony I could not believe the difference. I see so many on the Plane with Bose and think they just went with a name. If you find the bass slightly lacking, you can easily customize the audio profile in the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Go to the Sound tab and use the Equalizer settings; you can either select the "Bass Boost" preset or, for the best results, use the custom EQ and increase the horizontal Clear Bass slider, which is specifically designed to add low-end punch without distorting the overall sound.
