Awesome headphones

They are comfortable to wear for extended time and sound great. The app to control them could use some improvement. My Beats Studio 3 headphones work more seamlessly with iPhone but aren’t as comfortable to wear.

Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones are better than Bose

Essential for work from home

The XM4s were worth every penny solely for the excellent noise canceling. TV on in the other room? No worries. Someone's talking on the phone? No problem. They won't block every noise, but if your music is on, odds are that's all you'll hear. As for the sound quality, these will sound phenomenal to anyone who isn't an audiophile. No issues there. I haven't found much use for all the extra features the headphones have - why do I need Google Assistant if my phone is always with me anyway? The autodetection of movement/activty is also more of an annoyance, I've found it much better to use the physical button to switch ANC on or off. Perhaps it would be better if you were on the move often. All around, excellent headphones and worth the investment if you work from home.

I've had them for a bit over a year and they work like they are brand new. At first, they can be a bit tricky to use if you don't find the right settings for you, but once you adjust the settings to your liking and fit, they're the best. I would recommend using and buying when going on walks and to study. The battery lasts so long which is such a plus! 100% charged can last a whole day and sometimes even up to more days depending on the use you give them. I recommend to give them a try!

Great sound, not so great noise cancelling

Sound quality is big for me, and equally important is the noise cancellation since I work in an open office and spend a fair amount of time on flights. While these Sony headphones definitely deliver on sound quality (the app is cool, if not kind of quirky, too), the noise cancellation is not as good as my old QCs. Also, switching Bluetooth between devices is unnecessarily difficult, requiring you to restart the headphones. I don't regret the purchase, but if i could do it again, i think I'd splurge for the XM5s or the QC 700s.
