I needed something very comfortable that I can use for hours and this headset is exactly what I needed. The noise cancellation is also state of the art.

Excellent sound

I returned them and purchased the xm4, and was instantly pleased with the sound. And even more so after going through and setting up my sound preference. Super happy with the sound quality. It doesn’t get super loud as some have mentioned, but that’s probably not a bad thing, as it may save our hearing. And it looks a lot better than the xb910’s.

Very comfortable I didn’t have a problem wearing for long periods of time. Not much to say other than that they’re exactly what you’d want in a pair of noise cancelling headphones

The battery life is nice and long even with ANC and LDAC turned on.

Frequent flyer must-haves

The noise cancellation is amazing. Completely cut off aircraft noise making my trip home much more pleasant. I wear them while cutting grass. Riding mower sounds like a sewing machine. Only drawback for me is the “tap” system which interferes with the tap system on my hearing aids. I have to tap my ears twice to change hearing aid programs. Unfortunately the double tap on headphones is needed to turn off and on the NC.

Great workout headphones

Very compacted so i can just throw them in my bag without thinking. The only thing i dont like much is the swipping feture but nothing crazy i cant get used too.

I got them because of the active noise cancelling, which rivals all of the current Bo$e noise cancelling and surpasses all the rest. What has really increased my experience is all the "hidden" features that are explained inside the box. Laying your palm on the side of the headphones pauses the ANC, intuitive swiping up/down on the outside earpiece for volume and forward and back for skipping, the double tap to pause, all very easy/user friendly interface that makes them a pleasure to use.

Hot and bothered

Its spoiled all my other sound systems. Need to put some time into figuring out how to make them comfortable (for me I have to wear them at max extension), while not slipping in the gym (much tighter), and the cushions are maybe a bit thin for super long wearing. Hurts after a few hours.

A nice upgrade

After my last pair of Sony headphones broke & played out I just stuck with in-ears. But I really did miss them so I purchased these at a nice sale. The sound is great and the noise canceling does what I need it to. The volume is great as well. Even on low I still can’t hear much unless it’s something really loud in the background. The only thing I’d suggest is immediately changing the settings on the app for the noise canceling. Out the box, the feature that turns noise canceling off and lowers the volume when ppl approach you to talk or whatever is super sensitive. Thought I got a defective pair since the sound kept cutting out every time I breathed, blinked, or thought about breathing or blinking lol.

Great Set of Wireless Cans!

The ANC is amazing, it's been a great boon to my work from home. Additionally it's great that I have an easy way to take calls, listen to music and switch audio between my computer and phone with ease. The only downsides are call quality is just ok, it's not gonna blow your mind but there are better options if calls are your primary use case. Additionally the LDAC is not available when you have two devices connected. Minor gripes and far exceeded by all the positives. If your willing to splurge on a set of wireless headphones these are a great pick.

Don’t look for the XM5’s, get these!

Perfect for people who are looking to disconnect from the world and take a deep dive in the world of EDM, hip hop or any genre that can appreciate the punchy sound profile these have. The Sony app works really well in terms of EQ and connectivity, these are a gift when they’re on a deal. The XM5’s are great but, in terms of almost every area including ANC, the 4’s are a better option while saving at least a few $$.
