Being able to fold the headphones makes great for traveling. I have them looked up to our new Sony Bravia XR TV and can enjoy movies at full blast without waking anyone up.

Sometimes it’s able to block everything completely and sometimes it doesn’t detect it. The battery life is great to me.

To help address this issue, we recommend the following steps:
1. Disable Adaptive Sound Control:
Open the Sony | Headphones Connect app.
Navigate to the "Status" tab.
If "Adaptive Sound Control" is enabled, please turn it off.
Adaptive Sound Control automatically adjusts noise-canceling settings based on your activity, which may cause the inconsistencies you’ve noticed. For more details, please visit:

2. Set Ambient Sound Control to Noise Canceling:
In the app’s "Sound" tab, locate the "Ambient Sound Control" setting.

This ensures that noise cancellation is prioritized over other sound modes.
3. Update Firmware to Version 3.0.1:

Better than Bose 700

Sony sound quality is better and does not nickel and dime you for every little thing like bose. Bose is selling a portable usb link to help with the connectivity of the bose 700. They are trying to make more money by solving a problem in their headphones, which is the connectivity. Sony headphones connect to my pc, but bose 700 glitches.

It worked well, and sounded pretty good. However, I returned these since my Apple Airpods Max sounded just as good to my aging ears. So, these became unnecessary. If you won't be connecting to apple products, pick these over the the AirPods Max, they are a way better value. If you do plan to use with Apple products, the AirPods max will give you a better more robust experience.

Theyre more bassy than other headphones in my experience. after about 8 months of having them, they had a few connection issues but that got sorted out by not using them for a bit.

Great improvement over previous model

The tweaks to the head band and ear muffin really improve comfort. The sound quality has also improved. Bluetooth compatibility has improved for me too.
