I never tried the new Sony line of the noise cancelling headphones but I was pleasantly surprised. However, I feel like using them to talk on the phone is not so good, the other person has trouble hearing me when it is noisy around me. Also it comes with a bag and an airplane adapter and a cable which is very convenient.

Thanks for being upfront about your experience with phone calls in noisy spots. The headphones use smart microphones and noise cancelling tech to help catch your voice, but in busy places, it can sometimes be tough for the other person to hear you.
If you often need to take calls in busy places, trying to find a quieter spot or adjusting features like Sidetone in the Sony | Sound Connect app can sometimes make your voice clearer for the other person.

The only thing I would like to see change is they don’t come with a charging block (not a big deal), the usb cord is SUPER short, and for the money you would think they would have a nicer case. All nit picking stuff. That’s how AMAZING these headphones are!!! The headphones themselves are hands down the best headphones I have ever owned and in my humble opinion the best on the market. The sound quality is AWESOME and the noise canceling is AMAZING. They even canceled out the noise of a concrete saw cutting through 12” and 14” of concrete. Like they worked better than ear plugs!!! Highly recommend!!!

Drop the coin, worth it

They work better than expected. But I digress. I am a late 40s male and hard of hearing. At first I wanted to turn the volume up louder than these headphones would allow. Then I settled in. It's worth the wait. No outside nose from happy miss yappy pants. The music just sounded better. I've had these for almost a year now, and they work soo great that I kicked the GF, her un ambitioned kid and a yapppy dog out of my house. Yet, I still wear these headphones and enjoy the beautiful sound.
