    Very nice wireless headphones. The sound quality is very good. There is a Sony App that allows you to adjust the EQ and that has made the sound profile very good. You can also adjust some of the features, like if the headphones go silent when you start to talk Overall these are near audiophile headphones with very competent active sound suppression. The only downside for me is that the ear pads are a little small and tend to get warm. They are not water resistant and the newer 5 series have better sound suppression But is you are cost sensitive these are a great buy when they are on sale

    Basically it came down to 3 players in the market for over-ear. Sony vs Apple vs Bose After multiple reviews on YT and other tech pages, I went with Sony over AirPod Max for 2 basic reasons: 1) Price 2) Package Sony are literally half the price of APM!!! Also, it comes with carrying case and other things whereas Apple comes with a funny looking pouch(?!?) and exposes the softest part of the device! Sound is great and the companion app is great too, have put in some hours on it already. Cups were initially heavy on my ears but its getting more and more comfy daily.

    The noise canceling tech in these are very impressive. Works so well for listening and relaxing or walking on the treadmill. I bought these for work and was very pleased at how well the microphone worked for calls while cutting out background noise. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great headphones that font disappoint.

    I'm an old school audiophile and did research before buying. In addition to high quality audio I wanted maximum noise cancellation. Bose is a gold standard in audio and their noise cancelling technology is highly rated so I tested their headphone first. The Sony seems to be on par with the Bose for less money. I can find no fault with these. They are comfortable, great build quality, impressive sound, and excellent noise cancellation. I wish they had volume control on the headset, but other than that, I would highly recommend.

    Sound is great and I enjoy the controls. The only downside is having to download a separate app in order to use the headphones. I also had problems with them disconnecting during phone calls. Overall, I enjoy these headphones and believe they are well worth the purchase!

    Great headphones with one minor exception. They don't do a good job of cancelling noise when doing calls over the computer. I may be missing something but everything else seems great except that when I use them for conference calls they pick up every little noise around me so that everyone else hears it. That may not be the intended use of these headphones, but I feel like the technology is to a point where I should be able to expect superior noise cancelling functionality in all areas. I have other headphones that are much better at this one aspect but lack in others compared to the WH-1000XM4, so there just may be no perfect headset out there. Overall all I'm very pleased with the headphones, very comfortable, dual bluetooth syncing works well (once you get used to it being a thing), so I'll just have to remember to mute myself more when there's anything else going on in my office.

    I really like these headphones, noise canceling is great, comfort is great, but only rated them 4/5 because of the app. Works great most of the time, but for a top of the line product the app that controls them shouldn’t be so glitchy
