I use these at work because there are so many distractions. The noise cancelling helps me focus. And when I speak, no need to take them down they automatically mute and enhance the outside noise so I can hear whoever is speaking to me. It’s great!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth every penny, got this on sale for two seventy eight. -Noise cancelling 10/10 -Sound quality music 10/10 -Sound quality voice 8/10 (some distortion but that’s to be expected of most headphones) -Comfort 8/10 (perhaps I have a bigger head but it does clamp me a bit after 3-4hr use) -Style points 8/10 (personally I think the beats have flashier colors and more modern shape) In the current market as at august 2021, these are the best that money can buy before going into studio level headphones

Best over ear headphones

Everything gets blocked out when i turn on noise canceling. Bought one for my wife and son. We all love them.

Solid headphones.

Bluetooth connection with multiple devices is unreliable at times. Audio doesn’t swap consistently when connected to laptops and my phone.

Update Software: Ensure that your headphones are updated to the latest firmware version. Updates often bring improvements and fixes for issues related to connectivity.
Reset Headphones: If connectivity issues persist, consider initializing and resetting your headphones. This operation will reset all device settings to the factory defaults and delete all pairing information. Instructions for initializing can be found in the model-specific Help Guide

I was hoping they would announce these for 2020 because I didn’t want to buy any of the already existing top pairs in the market. The best ones were already out for a year to a couple. I figured waiting for the newest made more sense as it would be safe to assume that improvements have been made. That’s exactly what Sony did with these following the already highly successful WH-1000XM3s.

The ultimate NC headset

I tried the XM5 and I wasn’t a fan of them either, it honestly seemed like a step down. Finally I went with the XM4 and I do not regret the change. Great bass and even better NC. I was working and heard nothing around me. Some have even used them to mow the lawn. That’s how strong the noise cancellation is.
