Worth the upgrade from the WH-1000XM2's
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally upgraded from the WH-1000XM2's and the difference between the two models is greater than i had thought. First, Sony continues to enhance the incredible sound quality from previous generations of the product line. The construction of the headphones feels much more secure and solid as compared to the older generations which often broke near the headband. The slimmer headphones also appear to be noticeably less bulky on my head while being worn.

Speak to chat works for me whenever im at the store or at home doing yard work with my family, and the pause whenever you take them off is helpful as well.

Great sound quality and convenient.

The sound quality is just as good as more expensive options, and I prefer it over the XM5 since it can fold. The only issue is that the it pauses too long after a conversation.

It is the best, and loud and the hardware functionality to stop play when you speak to someone and take it off your head is amazingly smart. The sound and hardware. And definitely a need to be able to connect to two devices. The previous only connected to one, and that was an angering inconvenience. Definitely an additional fix worth the upgrade.

I would probably get a skin on them since the matte material can get scratched up but other than that, it is a very good device

Great Sound and Isolation

First the sound. I've been using wired headphones for years. Tied (by wire) to the computer, I have dutifully sat in my chair for hours, watching instructional videos, etc. Now, I get up and walk around, still hearing the audio, while stretching my legs, even walking around the house. The no-sound is just as enjoyable. I'm wearing them now, while my wife is watching tv. Very quiet.

Gift for teenage daughter
